I ordered and received the Collector's Edition DVDs. With it there was a card thanking me and it had a website on it "for help installing SimCity 4 mods, visit:" .. http://goo.gl/QWUL5C

When trying to get to this site it always comes up site not found...I tried slightly different iterations of it and still came up with nada.

Am I missing something, is this a misprint or is it just not a site at all?

I would like to get to this site, or the correct one, as I would like help installing the mods.

Thanks for any light you could shed on this subject.  Jerry

I have no idea about the referenced site, however, you can check out:

Boggy1's Quick Guide to All Things Custom Content!

It's even possible that might be where the site linky was intended to go back when the disc file contents were created. (I'm guessing on that part, tho.)

I would imagine the link simply is too old to work. Bear in mind, depending on the disk's version you have, it may be quite an old version.

Either way, the link from Cori should have all you need to know.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Regarding the STEX Collector's Edition, I have just received all three discs. I was like a fourteen-year old male with a new sports car magazine. Unlike Jweigh, I have not attempted to download any as I have spent several hours just drooling over the content. And Curse You, STEX! I have also thought of three new concepts for my cities! Do I modify old cities, start new one's, or just dream? What a dilemma!

Out of a few thousand files, I found five or six that I already have in my library.  By Grabthar's Hammer... what a bargain! This was worth the purchase price. Very much so!

    Thank you, STEX.

(In case you haven't noticed by all of the exclamation points, I am just a tiny-bit ADHD.)
