An excellent start to your first CJ, nooneatall! The autumn trees look terrific at the foot of Le Tour Nationale, and the waterside downtown is gr8 too!

    Thanks for the comments.1.gif

andrew george:Thank-you very much for visiting my CJ, you should know that many areas I am currently working on are very much inspired by your Norwich.2.gif
Mexicanboy13r:Thank-you, I find the STYLE indeed nice aswell.
dudyconstructor:You would give up the California sun for those heavy taxes in Arville?4.gif
bobinator:Paris was indeed the insparation for some parts of the city, and it would be nothing without xannepan's buildings.
    threeswept:Thank-you for the comment.

For all of you, I should be working on an update now, and I am just wondering if I could get any feedback on which area you would preffer to see first: An university and surrounding campus in the old-town; or the capitol area in an thriving new area outside of Arville (I make them both sound so good3.gif)

EDIT: Image shack seems to be down... *sigh* I guess that I will host the picture on ST for the time being I have tried again... hopefully it now works

Soon to come: is the full parliment complex; and the surrounding areas, including Archambeau - the city which the parliment is located, which has, over recent years, experienced tremendous growth and is almost catching up with Arville, yet is now fearing for its right as an distinct city as plans to extend sprawl along the high-speed rail link between Arville and Archambeau is already in the planning / land preperation stages.

Hope to get that update in sometime soon; and always fell free to post any comments.2.gif

I know this is a litte late, but eh. Your Tour Nationale is absolutely gorgeous, especially with your blend of the canals and autumn trees. I'm not a big fan on huge jumbo skylines, but your skyscraper peninsula definitely gives me ideas for my own cities when they become developed. And the parlement bulding intrigues me and gives me new ideas. Keep up the awesome work.

Beautiful beautiful city, I like it a lot.

I like the idea of a city tram service. It doesn't have to be extensive, perhaps just a small local train service running parallel to certain roads in business districts, or even between two roads. It could be a nice tourist attraction or even a pedestrian attraction. Keep up the amazing work! This is stunning9.gif
