Any way to change the road color?

hope u're all having a great summer so far =) I was playing around with the new map theme editor for the first time this morning and was wondering is there any way to change the road color on it? I know there's a mod for it, but I've pretty much maxed out on mods for now and was wondering if you've been able to change the road color using just the theme editor.  thanks!

There is somewhat at least. On one of the tabs there's road (upwards and downwards) textures along with the texture applied to building foundations, the burned and abandoned texture and some others. I'm not sure how it behaves with roads from NExt though. You'll probably have to experiment some.

Roads United lets you set the color from near black to light grey for each road type, NExt roads included. It's pretty beefy in size, but imo. it's a great mod.
Road Color Changer may still work as well, but I don't know if it plays nice with the NExt roads, and I'm not sure it's still maintained/supported.
