Thank you for giving more information. I am not sure if I understood all you said. Perhaps you could post some pictures to explain it better?

    AlexNielsen7:
Thank you, I am glad that you are exited about this CJ! I will try to release them.

    topcliff:
So you would be able to do the modding? Do you know how to add custom menu icons as well? It would be great if you could help us.

    DragonAnime:
Thank you! So, your tunnel is a transition from rail to subway? Can you plop it on a slope as well?

Here is another sketch of the new walls showing how I imagine the top part:

Yes, I think it's possible, however, it'll be a lot of work. One problem I've had (and the main reason I've only made these for myself, as I needed them)is that the one size fits all concept, is difficult to achieve. Whether you use foundations or props for walls doesn't really matter, so long as they are high enough. Example; player 1 has a slope 16 meters high at one end. The other end is at 45 meters. Assuming the top of the slope is flat, your foundation/wall would need to be a minimum of 48 meters deep. It can get more extreme. If player 2 has a slope going from zero at one end and 85 meters at the other (say the side of a mountain road), you then need a 96 meter foundation/prop. As I said, this is probably do-able, it's just more involved than if it was for a breakwater/quay at the water's edge.

Barnatom, here's a pic showing what I meant about the one size fits all concept.  This is the same lot plopped 9 times.

barnatom - Your CJ is absolutely amazing. The riverside, plazas, walls, etc. Amazing! Please, upload the Kwakelaar plaza onto the STEX. It would be a great addition for my cities. I hope you don't mind me incorporating some of your ideas into my cities. I just went through your entire CJ and I have to say that it is very influential. Good luck with batting the walls. I hope it turns out like you want it to. Thanks again for creating such a wonderful CJ.

Thank you for posting this image. Yes, I was aware of the issue with the height of the wall segments. However, I thought it was best to limit the height to perhaps twice the height of the NAM pieces (Ithink this will be 30 meters). This wall is not supposed to function everythere. And I think it won't look good if the height is too large.
One thing about the test lots you made: I thought of making the straight wall segments 1x1, with a wall prop only slightly overhanging, but without any slope tolerance so that the lot would raise itself and build a foundation. But this foundation should be hidden behind the overhanging wall.

    topcliff:
Well, thank you. But I think it would be better to have one person who is able to modd, package and upload the plazas.

    AlexNielsen7:
Thank you very much, here is the next update. I hope you will like it.

    To everyone:
I am still looking for someone who is able to check the plaza lots Kwakelaar made for me and to modd them and to upload them on the STEX. It would be nice if we could include custom menu icons - I will make them.
So, if you know how to do this, please leave a message here and we can get them up on the STEX.

    Hello, barnatom.

I don't know what happened to my original post but it certainly didn't make it into your thread.  Consequently, I'll try and remember what I wrote.

My apologies for taking so long to get a reply to you on your latest updates.  I've been busy with the Real World and some added work/projects I'm doing now on ST.

    Your Walls project.
I am very excited about this project.  I believe these straight up-and-down walls will be a great addition to the game -- especially when all you want is a nice retaining wall.  I look forward to their completion.  Kudos to all who are working on this project.

    Update No. 28
Kwakelaar Square is just drop-dead gorgeous!  What a beautiful plaza you've created.  I can see spending quite a bit of time just walking through it and admiring it.  You've done a beautiful job using these plaza puzzle pieces and I must echo the comments of others in that it would be wonderful to have them available on the STEX.  I look forward to them.

    Update No. 29
Ah, Plopable Water.  You've done an excellent job in using it and building up this beautiful area in your CJ.  Couple this with your great use of PEG's Scenic Views and Sway Bridge has given you one of the best updates of your CJ.  Exquisitely done, barantom, just beautiful!

I have placea  link to this update in my Plopable Water thread (see my signature, below) so that others can enjoy this great use of Plopable Water.

I look foward to your future updates and more news on your Walls and Plaza projects.

    Regards,

    Vandy

In the end you will see, You is you and me is me.

Barnatom. This CJ is truly inspiring!

I don't normally get to look at CJs as I have dial up internet (very slow and pictures often cut-off in the middle), but I am pleased to say the 2.5 hours viewing (in fact, I think the better description is ogling) this from start to finish was extraordinarily well spent.

You are truly an aesthete and I am amazed at the natural beauty and the function in your cities.
The harbours (as everyone has said before me) ARE the BEST I have ever, ever seen. It is so evident that you take great care when creating these.

It is a shame that the Lot Editor doesn't function for Macs. If it did, I think Batters would queue to have you lot their creations; such is your eye for detail.

The link to mayang's textures is fantastic. Indeed there are some beautiful textures there. I'll have to see what I can make of them. Thanks for sharing.

    Well done on this city!!!!!!!!!!!!44.gif29.gif44.gif

I'll be sure to check in again!
