Lol, what's wrong with Duisburg? After all, it should give us plenty of industrial inspiration to stink up our virtual cities with ;)
But I tend to agree: I think Dusseldorf, Cologne or perhaps even Aachen would make a more interesting meeting place.

Everyone should just come here to Chicago :P Besides, Chicago has great architecture, and we can all go out on the Willis Tower glass ledge and see who panics first:

Brooklyn NYC in the house! Seems most of you are across the pond. I need to visit some of my roots in London and Scotland anyway.....but then I also have stronger roots in Jamaica. I'm all mixed up.

Meeting in person might ruin our avatars. Like when I read BoldlyBuilding's posts, I hear the voice of the Captain of Starfleet.....in architect form. And I assumed Koesj was in Asia. Maybe we could meet in costumes and drink lots of beer :D

We should use the group chat on Steam more often.

Both of my parents are from Jamaica. I have some relatives in the UK as well.

Its kinda cool to see where you guys are from, especially when I'm trying to get in touch with one of you at 2am :).  Currently in Columbus, Ohio.

Hah, I don't even need the glass ledge - don't think I've ever been in a building that tall. Damn, the Willis Tower is way taller than the tallest place in Denmark! xD

The picture alone is enough to freak me out  :O  Over the years I've visited a number of observation deck/platform (Empire State Building, 2IFC, Bitexco Tower, Main Tower), and that was perfectly fine because thankfully they didn't feel the urge to terrify the crap out of unsuspecting visitors with transparent floor panels or similar stunts - but this?!? *shudders*  :D

Chicago would be awesome as a meeting place (the birthplace of the skyscraper, thus of the City:SkylineTM), but I guess it's just as feasible for us Yurpeans as the old continent is for you Americans.

Haha, someone should map out the exact center location ;) you can exclude those Aussie's as they are outliers! lol

I'll ask my superiors their thoughts on a modding meet-up, but travel issues would definitely be the biggest obstacle to overcome.

Well, the more Aussies and Kiwis, the merrier. We might end up on some beach in Thailand! 8)

I'm probably the only Russian here, from a small town (study in St. Petersburg). I never have been abroad, and in the current crisis can not be known how many years(

Right now we're off the eastern coast of southern Greenland, what with all those USians coming out of the woodwork :D

Okay, I don't know how you managed to get that coordination as the middle point, lol. Do we have a large concentration of modders at the North Pole?

If true, we're pretty close to Iceland, which would be amazing!! So maybe we should include an Aussie or two ;)

I live  3 hrs north of Montreal (Quebec/Canada) but born in Aachen (Germany). I am always on the go, and I can go anywhere, usually I find myself in NZ, near Christchurch, where I built a loghouse 2 years ago for my Canadian Winter retreat, or in Monschau (close to NL and Belgium), near Aachen, where most of my family lives, or in the ET(Eastern Townships), near Montreal (where my farm is). All this at least 2 to 3 times a year and I can arrange the dates too. ;)

Would be nice to actually meet some other Modders., besides the very few I have met.
