I have finished my MMPs project but ......
All MMPs function properly and all models can be set in-game !!!
Only  one small detail but one big problem for me. The game's icons in the game arn't working.
I get a blank box which you can click on the MMP in the game but the images to recognize the MMP remains empty and you see nothing.
I can not live with these. Sure i have the Titel and I know were I can find them.
Have been looking at for a SimCity Devotion '' MMP range '' the EA53300 to EA534000 it is not used!
Have had contact with Girafe (a master in MMP) he indicating that the MMPs game icons do work when the plugin folder is empty.
This is true, he told me that I should request own MPP range to avoid ''these problems''.
Indeed he is right but I allready made them  but this MMP range is not in use and I do not want re-create all 100 MMPs.
I have spent around 4 weeks making these. I thoughted if the will work proper ingame I will make the icons at the end!
I thought when all MMP's will work proper even without the icons there will be no modconflict with other TGI!!
I do like to upload these set but it is not uploadable no without the finishing touchs

To see I made a no mistake about the TGI I have tried to made the same MMP with another TGI (MMP) range but the replaced game-icon still isnt working.
When I use the old PGN icon that I pasted own my first made MMP is working properly. From there on I made the rest of my 100 MMP.
I only can use my old PGN not my new replaced ones.
How is the possible????

Can you send me one of your mmp files... I can take a look at it and try and find the problem.  I think your range is fine... i doubt that is the issue.

If the files are working properly in an empty folder it means that they are correctly modded but if there is a bug when have full plugin folder it seems that there is a conflict with another file.
I think the conflict is coming from another file using the same TGI what is creating the icon bug.

2 options for the conflicting file:

- if you are using your own TGI, it means that you have let somewhere in your plugin folder a file with same TGI. It happens often to me as I am working with many MMP simultaneously and I forget to change the TGI

- if you don t have your own TGI, the file can be in conflict with the file of another creator.

To check where the issue comes from, try to remove the files in your plugin folder one by one and launch the game. You will finally find the source of the problem.

PS: to be really sure about the problem you encounter, please post a screenshot.

PS 2: i doubled check the files, item description Key Instance should be X + 1 same than the LTEXT number 2 and not X

    In the tutorial from Dedgren it is different but okay I believe your word for it

    The funny thing is when I place my MMP in the pluginfolder with the rest of my lots I cant find the MMPs in the flora section anymore!!?
    Even when i scroll all the way down! It is possible the hide files in the Damn but even without the damn these files won't pop in the flora menu.
    I can find my own made MMP only with a empty pluginfolder? A conflict but don't with what cause TGI range not beeing used.

    Sorry about all the work I'm kinda new with all of this...

    I don't know if this will detect the problem, but have you tried Rivit's SC4DataNode?  It is a pretty thorough check.

    I think the error will be created out of the Damn Menu. Only ingame icons don't come forward if I have replaced the PNG in the MMP. If I place them in the Damn mananger no icons will be shown.
    Why and how come I don't have any clue

    Before moving forwards you should be sure of one thing at a time. Having looked at the MMPs, I could find no problem with them appearing in-game. I don't use the DAMN though, so before you try to use them with DAMN, get them working properly without it would be my advice.

    If the limited-scope scan in datanode I mentioned privately (just with other MMPs) showed no conflicts, maybe a scan against your entire plugins folder is needed?

    All these ID's conflicting simply makes no sense, however, I could understand a few having problems, but they should not all fail to appear at once. It's a bit hard to assist you further without being able to replicate the same problem you are having though.

    As I recall, from some time ago, DAMN includes some executable code.  I wonder if it is possible that this needs an update?

    I think the problem is the color of the small pictures it was to grey and the model to small so Damn couldnt recognize it the PNG.
    My pixels were big enough for the Simcity 4 mayor ploppable ingame icons but Damn didn't want so show them...
    I will continue the project and finished it for release.Finally

    PNG images are very dense and hence large.  Next time, try it with something more sparse, but sufficient (JPEG).

    Icons for use with SC4 content must be in the PNG format, jpeg's simply wouldn't work.
