It seems like the "collision problem" is related to the AddToGrid function in BuildingManager:

There is a "Building Grid" that is used for fast collision detection. The problem is that every building is only added to one field of the grid.

This is not a problem when there are only small buildings, but large buildings may have to be added to multiple fields of the grid.

The grid size is 64x64m (8x8 blocks)

I'm very happy to see someone challenging the maximum size of plots. Since C:S was released the small plots were one of the biggest flaws IMO.

However, as I understand it you are only working on mods for ploppable buildings, right? Any chance you could do something about the small growable plots, or is this currently out of reach? It would be so awesome to have larger growables... :)

out of reach. The 4x4 limit is a hardcoded value, You would have to rewrite the whole zoning system.

Wider assets (6x4, 8x4) might be possible, but I don't know if it is worth it.

It would be nice to have wider assets... but yeah it might be much work for not much gain.

Patch 1.1.1 is out, brace thy cities, the greater bugs are coming. (In other words, check if the mod is still operational.)

The world is what you make of it, no matter what others say or do, you are still responsible for what you do.

Finding a way to criticize everything is a waste of time and effort that can be used to do something enjoyable.

it is very unlikely that it breaks. It is actually a very simple mod. Can you test If it still works?
