Post Editor won't open

I'm new in this community and I can't write any description because there are no blanks for those when I upload something.

That appears to be a common issue with the forum software, I ran into it when making this post. The message section should show up if you refresh the page.

Okay, I'm using Chrome. So I turn on this site in other browser and the reply and description blank is FINALLY usable...! OMG....

I use Firefox (and even have magical powers on the site) and yet sometimes I get the same trouble where the editor box lid is so rusty it won't open. As Null says, a refresh usually fixes it. Very, very rarely it'll need two refreshes.

Ohh Thank you CorinaMarie! In other browser it shows up when I refresh it. But It's so weird that why only Chrome couldn't solve the problem. refreshing doesn't solve the problem in Chrome...

Well now that is weird! Chrome is a respectable browser, but we can just blame them and call it a day.

was thinking it was weird myself, but just remembered, they've done an update recently to establish something in the background. So, currently Firefox and many other browsers will likely still keep things going, but Chrome is probably a no go for a while (or permanently depending on what Google does with it in the near future). So people have been jumping ship and moving to other non-Chrome browsers. (manifest v3 is what I was trying to remember earlier. It's likely this is altering the way Chrome reads sites, so as to kill off ad blockers; dunno if this is the actual cause or not though)

Just to add...

This has indeed been an annoying issue for a while, and occurs when the page scripts / styles aren't loading properly. I might look into updating CKEditor manually sometime and see whether that helps, but it's not a straightforward task as it's custom integrated into the board software.

In case a regular page refresh doesn't help, I recommend holding down Ctrl while pressing the F5 key. This Ctrl+F5 combo performs a force refresh, which is sometimes more effective as it bypasses the browser's local cache. This is different than a regular standard refresh which often reverts to cached storage.

I've added a subtle note onto the editor just now, to hopefully spread awareness of this.
