I love this journal!  It looks so creepy though...like a Twilight Zone episode where everything is perfect and beautiful and orderly...with an ominous look in the landscape...as if there's some sort of great evil hiding behind the perfect facade.

And like everyone else, I love the landscape, it just adds to the whole mood.

I also love how you show what you're planning and how you do great photoshop work.  It always makes for a fun journal to read when people can do that well.

The naming convention is something else I really enjoy too...simple, but fun.  Great great job...this is a cj I look at a whole lot.

I just love your overall building style, and the presentation is excellent. I really enjoy seeing your emphasis on certain large industries and housing centres; instead of simply zoing a huge grid full of small industries.

I am very pleased to see that you have not cancelled your CJ; as it would have been a great shame. There is not much for me to say, without having a positive comment about every aspect of your CJ!

Keep up the good work

To All: O-oh, it's so great to read all these marvellous comments! Thank you so much, guys! 48.gif
Here is another break in this aerial tour -  I have some new stuff for you to show 1.gif

Gorky Park and ordinary urban developings.

    chap017_001.jpg

First of all, let's look at the new developing area - Mezonrech Plantations transport hub.

    chap017_002.jpg

In the future, this railway station will be at the city outskirts. The railway will separate residential and farming areas. Yes, almost all free space eastwards Etsaw will be covered by farms. So, the name of this area is Mezonrech Plantations. That's why the railway station has the same name.

    chap017_004.jpg

    chap017_005.jpg

Here is closer view of the bus terminus and parking lot. The station will serve all nearby area, so parking lots must be very spacious.
Also, the station will be a terminus of few bus routes.

    chap017_003.jpg

And now, about new Etsaw recreational area - Gorky Park - an Etsaw Central Park at the Irafirom Community.

    chap017_006.jpg

After new park is finished, Irafirom Communty becomes the most wishful place for inhabitation in Etsaw

    chap017_007.jpg

Every sunday, you can see amazing musical performance here at the Melody Theatre 36.gif:

    chap017_009.jpg

New modern fire station is a part of the park complex. It serves the north part of the Irafirom community:

    chap017_008.jpg

Also, you can have a really good time at the Gorky Luna Park 9.gif:

    chap017_010.jpg

    That's all for today!
I hope you like this update. Next time we will continue our Eladremme valley review 2.gif

    Wow! [:0]
You know what, Marrast? You're an artist, really!19.gif

This CJ must never ends 18.gif. I hope you have a backup of your region somewhere just in case.

I was wondering if your park menu is extremely crowded because you seem to have a lot of small lots you use to personalize your cities. It looks like you use all the different grass textures 18.gif

BTW, I would like to thank you for the nice river embankment set you created. I started using it today in one of my city and it looks awesome! I can't wait to see how they will look like in your beautiful region.

    Continue the good work 44.gif

    This looks really great...

Nice job on the lunapark, swimmingpool, theatre area..... its really stunning.

I love the way you make and use your own lots, I think by repeating the props on the lots gives your city a very unique and realistic touch, beside that these lots give so much detail to your city...

Your pics are good quality and love the plane idea showing your terraforming skills 2.gif.......

one point of criticism though.... I think spacing between highrise buildings is to big. I must say it looks great on the pics but I don't think it's very realistic. You've got a lot of grasslands between development... and a lot of roads with little purpose. Where I'm coming from (netherlands) cities don't have enough room for expansion to create such enormous inner-city grasslands... maybe its different elsewhere so correct me when I'm wrong.

But I really like your city layout and building style....

So keep those updates coming!!!  44.gif

Wow 31.gif So great to see all these comments! =:} Thank you, guys!

To Dr. Neitchskrimfrauwnmoya: Oh, thank you man! Glad to see you here again 19.gif
You know, after reading your comment, I've checked my Plugin folder for custom lots i've made for this region. And I must say - i'm in shock! There are about 120 (!!!) custom lots, that I use in this region! I have also a lot of downloaded stuff, so yes, my park menu is a little bit plenty 18.gif

    To Ar3man2005: Thanks, man :}
    1. These lots i've made by myself, but i think i saw somenthing like this at the STEX..
    2. To get rid of arrows, you need a special mod. You can get it here
    3. Oh, it's a transport enabled lot, see below for more info :}

To Evil Muzz: Also, read below, i have some good news for you all 2.gif

    To Shadow_Assassin: A-a-a-allright, allright!! Be cool 9.gif

To Marijintjo: Thank you for intresting comment!
About spacing between highrises. You are right, some cities don't have enough space to waste like I do in Etsaw :} But, I have two things to tell. First of all, Eladremme and Etsaw are a fantastic places, with the fantastic legend.  At the second page of this CJ, you could find this:

A reconstruction works was started in Etsaw under close supervision of Eladremme goverment.

The main objective is replaning of the housing communities in compliance with directives below:

    - An interval between front sides of the residential high-rise buildings must be
       not less than 128 meters.

    - An interval between side wall of the residential high-rise buildings must be not less than
96 meters if the building has a windows on a side wall. If the residential high-rise building
has not sidewall windows, so minimal interval between this kind of buildings is 64 meters.

    - A residential high-rise building must have no more than 15 floors.

Some of these directives was already breaked while city developing...
... But all this stuff has another good reason. I live at the outskirts of Moscow, so here we have a lot of free space between multistoreys.  And i like the way it looks 1.gif

To All: Finnaly, i have some news about these thansit enabled lots.
I've decided to share it with the community. So, i've started to workin' on some improvements.

The name of this small set is M-TEL (Marrast Transit Enabled Lots, huh). There will be two 1x13 transit enabled lots: a road one, and one-way one.

    That's how it will looks:

    m_tel001.jpg

    m_tel002.jpg

    m_tel003.jpg

    m_tel004.jpg

All that i need to do now, is to place these lots into the transport menu, fix some bugs, create custom icons.
Important, that these lots will have a dependency:  Marrast Avenue Divider because of using the same fence props.

I'd like, also, to say, that it will be released only as 1x13 lots. No shorter version or any other variations will not be added.
Please understand, that these lots are not for using every where, but only in some special cases. Another reason - these lots was created especially for specific use in Eladremme region, not for reaching the most multi-purpose as possible.

... So, if you still wanna get it... 21.gif9.gif
