Show us your vanilla cities (With the exception of NAM)

Vanilla Simcity 4 with no mods except for the pretty much necessary NAM is my favorite way to play Simcity 4. 

 

So in this thread, show us the cities you've been working on playing the way the game was designed to be played. 

 

Here is one of the cities I have made. It is positive in budget and doing really well, but unfortunately is not the prettiest.

Seems like a good thread for my random pics. (I believe what you'll see is all vanilla except for the gray power tower.)

Here I have my low wealth workers contained in their own little housing projects town. There are a few local jobs, but most take the train to get to work.

 

And here one enterprising Sim makes the most of the city's necessity:

@CorinaMarieThat's actually a smart idea you had there, making the best of a city's trash. Someone could even create a new plugin such as a junk vendor from this idea

Love the pretty little community gardens nestled in between the tracks and next to the huge factory. It's like "Hey, didn't you guys want parks and clean air and stuff like that? Here are the parks, yo!"

SimCity 4 without NAM !

SimCity 4 - NAM, all most a mariage as the developer´s gave room to Mod around and now is so complecated that using RHW seem and is a nightmare to happen, some parts are less complicated quit usefull like the canals or elevated networks, NWM roads, yet all of these consume practice time to learn and still a lott of time create. Vanilla SimCity 4 with only building mods and lots, less complicated even nice to see, less crashes or error´s ? Praticaly it saves space, more bat´s lot´s less networks, realistic rough terrain,no RHW network and so, no automata?

Gameplay world cities bat´s lot´s stil customizable, yet no modern highway´s, no HSR, no special road or rail networks ! Temptation going to the roots´without NAM, a desire to move away, simplify gameplay. Flatworld of NAM it´s allmost a breakaway into a more ancient look !

 

Serafim Gulin world region is a nice example of vanilla - mod lots play, simplicity in favor of playability. Repetative skyscrapers´s or lot´s here and there it stll looks great form a distance ! Tech Dive Gaming aswell, using a fixed set of Bat´s Lot´s Mod´s without NAM not bad looking !

 

Vanilla play maxis style obviously ultimately brings up a less satisfied feeling yet what is at such scale important, great regions repetiveness, as if you would add newyork or paris style every city would look the same unless you choose the building style individualy !Maxis style with only plopabel Bat´s, lot´s a otherwise  every city would´t be different. Concentrate on the simulation, work with what you really need, recept for non complicated city design, you will mis NAM eventualy for some networks but simplifycation makes gameplay so much less frustrating !
