    Mopar, More Power!

I'll be wrapping up the last car for this project later tonight. And after that, I should be getting ready to have it uploaded!

And at last, the follow-on to a legend! This is the 2010 Dodge Challenger-
    Zxszzx7.png

Hey @raynev1, if you don't mind me asking could I borrow your expertise on Dodge and Mopar? Is a black hood exclusive to a trim package or is it possible for a Challenger to have one without any other markings like stripes, etc? And does the same thing apply to other types of hoods like those with air scoops? I am asking about the first generation of the Challenger.

Expert I'm not , but I have seen older ones with and without the black striping . I'm into them for the bodies not the paint . Here is a pic of a first gen challenger .

%2773_Dodge_Challenger_%28Auto_classique I don't know if this is a factory color or not , but still looks good . Here is a link to wikipedia , a good description on the cosmetics .

BTW that last entry is coming along well .

I suppose it qualifies as a first generation one, but it's not from the first year of production. That's a 1972/1973 model, which in my opinion doesn't look as good as the 1970. :)

@raynev1- Sorry, I should have asked you. But thank you for the input! I was contemplating a change to the 1970 Challenger to match the rest of the body it but i'll leave it black like it is now so it's just easier to spot from above.

@__B- Well, the goal for this project was to show the first and latest* models for the three major players in American-made coupes.

    Spoiler

*At the time of the first upload for this project. The newest generations out now were barely underway if at all. This was a three year old project and I picked years from oldest and newest generation like I did the first time.

Since now all of the models for the muscle cars are more or less complete, one final phase of testing will come and as always I will be posting the cover photo here soon!

Not too much longer, now! Once I get some screenshots of these cars in action, you can expect a download link here soon!

    Spoiler

This was the cover for the first upload, to be replaced. Can you tell if there's a difference now?

And now for my next trick, comes a request from our own CMDP! I'm sure almost everyone is familiar with the Double-Decker buses of London. They have been an icon for over 50 years, but just a short while ago it was decided to phase them out and bring in a replacement. And for this project I am bringing the successor- the New Routemaster by Wrightbus!

I'll need to add a little excerpt saying for the best looks, it would be wise to use them in conjunction with a city that drives on the left.

@APSMS- As in the classic Routemaster? There is one that I know of that is modeled after the old type. It was made by BigBib and it can be found here:

The New one I will be uploading is the type that was introduced around 2013. It is going to be a replacement-only for the Maxis Shoebox, I mean City Bus. Someone else had made one for Skylines but there hasn't been one made for SC4.

I'd hate to break it to you, __B; but that won't be the only vehicle with the steering wheel on the other side!

Soon, you will be able to have the holy grail in Japanese tuning. This is one of the most sought after cars in the tuning culture, and this was one of my favorites to drive in Gran Turismo 3! And I would save up for a real one if bureaucrats didn't make me wait until 2024..

The R34 model is more or less complete with the exception of a few color choices. So far I have a few planned out but if you have a few suggestions for some more stock colors, I'd be open to them! And yes, this is the GTR variant of the Skyline!

Here she is in the one color I always picked in GT3-
    50OYKNd.png

And the backside. As I worked on it, the tail lights for this generation became my favorite out of all the Skylines made.

Not that bad with a right left hand drive car, though. The big issue with left hand drive buses is that you'd be forced to step out into the middle of the road.

    Great work as always! :D

@airman15 those Doubledecker Buses show some great modelling.Too bad they would look out of Place in my New York Region. Also i wish the Manufacturer would use a more classic Design, now those modern Buses remind me somehow of Women`s Shoes... .But just in case you are doing something for american Public Transport,i`m all Ears

That Nissan Skyline is super amazing.I have the Luck that someone here in my Neighborhood owns a customized R34 and seems also to be in some kind of Nissan Racer club because in Summer they often drive together.I call them the Nissan Squad because there are like 3 or 4 Silvias and 2 Nissan Skyline R34.And they are all tricked out like in a F&F Movie, only without those garish Colors, Neon Lights or Sound Systems. But Carbon Parts, sweet Alloys and Sponsor Stickers all over them.

Keep em coming,i`m eager to see what else you are cooking up.

I love you Airman. :)  I really do! I can't wait to have the R34 rolling in my streets!

A Yellow version just like in Initial D would be really cool.

Also, do you think you'd be able to make a 350Z? That would be really mad. :)

I'm not much of a Nissan fan, but I've always thought the Skyline was a cool and good-looking car. Good job!

@__B- What's funny is I was reading a series of posts where Jalopnik journalist Doug DeMuro daily'ed a Skyline R32 for a year when it became eligible for import. He said that trying to drive it in the states is a pain because everything is on the left where he is on the right! He even went through a McDonald's Drive-Thru backwards since he would have had to reach across the passenger seat. The best advantage of the Skyline is that you can get in from the sidewalk.

@Hotwheeler- Much appreciated! I'll admit first looking at it, I was a bit surprised about the design. I kind of associate Double Deckers with that of the old style. and I like the half-cab front. The New Routemaster's windows actually wrap around in two sections. Google Images showed several different proposals and I thought the final choice was the best looking.

Consider yourself lucky! R34's are banned in America because of bureaucracy. Because Nissan decided not to send them over and go through the channels to prove to the NTHSA that they are safe and emissions are okay, they are not an importable car as far as they're concerned. The only way to have one is either as a showcar (but only the '98 R34 V-Spec II) or if it's a Motorex car. They were a private company that brought the R33 to US driving standards but it was found they lied about several R32's and R34's that they imported and passed off as more R33's, and once the government learned about this, Motorex got shut down. Because now the government can't really track down which Skylines were fully federalized and which ones weren't, they let all of Motorex's customers keep their cars. Those sell for big money as they are the only *legal* Skylines here.

@art128- I looked into it and from the references I have found, the colors are almost like a champagne color. Does this color look right to you?
    GvC1gZn.png

@MushyMushy- Thank you! I agree the Skyline is a very good looking car, I wish they kept more of the R34 styling when Nissan brought them over as the G35 and G37.

@art128- As it happens to be, two of those colors were already made ;)

I haven't gotten the Dolphin Grey or the Imperial Green just yet but those can be added.

Here are the results for Midnight Purple II-

    And for Milano Red-

I may revisit these, to make some adjustments. There will be a follow-up on that soon.

I actually had a Bright Yellow Nissan Skyline R34 XMODs RC Car, and I grew very fond of it (but unfortunately it's in storage at the moment).

If you could make a bright yellow version, I'd be very happy, but if not I'm more than satisfied with the options you've already shown here.

@APSMS- I had a shade of yellow finished just yesterday! How's this?
    MUytxPP.png

And for the follow-up to Art128's suggestions, I changed the Purple from a flat color to show more of a glare effect. as well as brighten up the red a bit to better match the refernece photo proveded.

And I also took the time to include the Grey and Green suggestions:
