The Heat should offload everyone good and stockpile draft picks. No point keeping D-Wade around and being a directionless  8th playoff seed the next few years. If Cleveland land Kevin Love they immediately become favourites in a very weak Eastern Conference.

Hahaha. I care too although I am not much of an NBA fan. However, I find it displeasing that players kept on transferring from one team to another, I think there is no loyalty and commitment. I reckon this is another product of business optimization? I might be wrong though.

No just because players get transferred from one team to another doesn't mean that it's a product of business optimization.

Personally, I'm glad he's home and I heard that he plans on signing a four year deal.

Interestingly, thanks to the NBA's salary capping, there isn't much of a difference in the money he would make depending on the team. So what would seemingly be the obvious reason for making a move is perhaps not.

 

Best I can figure, he went to Miami since he wanted to win championships. He had no hope of doing that with Cleveland. But now that he's done it, he's satisfied and wants to go home.

 

So no, he will not be going back to Miami. He never had any loyalty to Miami. He just wanted to play for a team he could win with.

It don't make a difference for him he makes about 10x in endorsements as he does in salary which is max for him no matter were he goes.

I wouldn't put much stock in that, he will get bored being on a losing team, he also included an op out after one year.

 

And he only went with a short term 2 year deal, If he really wanted to loyal he would have have gone long term on a lower salary deal.

Well with him there, they won't be a losing team .

 

And yes, I saw the contract he signed. Two years. I've heard that he'll either get a contract extension or a longer and new contract when his contract is up.

Yeah I don't see the reasoning in signing a small contract when you claim you're loyal to the city.
