Roads menu.

So I made this based from SSign's mod at ST/EX. All credits goes to him.

To be honest, I prefer submenu instead of whole new menu. What do you guys think, this or we wait for the submenu option?

I did spend my whole night looking a way to add submenu but I guess I'll continue searching tomorrow.

Heh.... when I installed that addon mod, it just gave me the three new tabs that all looked the same (main road symbol) and road options were all jumbled up inside.

I did spend my whole night looking a way to add submenu but I guess I'll continue searching tomorrow.

I'd vote for sub menus within that one road menu. Good luck!

omg the solution for the endless scrolling i like it and idd i think the sub menus works best  ;)

 

But if you can release that for now it would be great saves a ton of time scrolling in those menus

    I would but since the nature of adding items in directory, its id needs to be change. example, non regional UDoN might need to a new set of id's, thus, when this mod comes out, we might not need the original UDoN. Will figure out a way :)

     I think this method and display format is by far the best way to do it for everyone whom is using it and I also see the advantages of taking it further

     

    If Roads were one menu and Subbed into the 4 segments that would then be the best however this is more than fine for 99% of users.

     

    I am also now seeing that this would be best for ALL RCI and ALL RCI CoT's

     

    but what do the rest of you think.. UI / UX mods will now start to pick up as each of you all figure out how they function as we start redesigning around form and function not just adding things to existing menu structures

    I was thinking that adding a new Menu for : One can dream

     

    "Extra Buildings" > SubMenu : Historical Landmarks, Fictional Landmarks, Nature Landmarks (such as Ayer's Rock etc), Clubs, Commercial (McD's, KFC, Wendy's)

     

    "Terra-forming" > (rivers-attributes like roads - draw them rivers) > SubMenu : Rocks, mountains, hills (by danny) etc

     

    "Farms"

     

    and the list goes on

    That menu is nice and clear. You should use that one. Only thing is that it removes the 2 icons of the BOC. You can use the BOC's icons on the screen, but then when you have 3 or more active assignments, they too become unusable. :lost:

    It does? It didn't remove any of the BoC icons for me.

    you're right the BOC icons aren't there. I didn't play when i installed the mod, but sure noticed it today

    Thanks for the replies, I am working on submenu's for all the roads. Will update the results soon.

    I did as well :) when I plop some sort of high density building on a futurized road, it turns into a huge CoT building.
