Roads and Highways not connecting

Has anyone else come across this glitch or have a way to fix it? I can't  get avenue's and highways to correctly line up one side does and one doesn't.  These are the automatically generated connections but even if you delete them and connect from the other city it still does the same thing...  Any help would be appreciated.

Bulldoze it on both sides, re-load both cities afterwards.  Then go back in a third time to each city and re-build the connection.  Make sure the city edges are reconciled.

Yeah, I am aware of this 'fix'.  It is just a pain in the butt.  Is there no patch yet then I take it?

This issue/glitch also happens with PC version. I've experienced it myself from time to time. Another variant of this glitch is the fact that traffic refuses to use a neighbour connection even though they appear properly connected. The only way to resolve it, is as Indiana Joe has stated. Completely remove on both sides, run game for awhile, reconnect etc. There is no other fix.

How do you match up the highways between regions.? I can see arrows on your image - can you tell me how to activate them..?

Just drag the road or network to the city border and click "accept" when ot prompts you to connect to the other city. It will automatically connect.

I believe this is covered in the in-game tutorials, make sure you play through those.
