Does anyone have the old game time MOD? It used to be on the old STEX site before it transitioned to this current one. For those of you who don't know the time MOD slowed the passage of time in the game to real time. If anyone has it please forward it to me if you can please.

I would love to see the "RH Plopmodd Final" expanded. Or maybe just the two lots I was hoping were in there. I love to build huge industry zones with either tons of 1x1 Steel Shed or Chemical Tank lots. But it takes forever (and lots of money) to bulldoze all unwanted built lots. Then making the lots historical once they are finally built. I was hoping the RH Plopmodd Final would finally solve my problem, but it only has these two lots as 1x2 lots which cuts the workforce in half. I also did not see any of the various 1x1 (DI) Yard lots which I love using as well in that set either.

I'm looking for a simple 'magic hilight marker', perhaps something that could use the menu management system, but the idea is this:

I have created a very accurate render of the county I live in complete with topographical maps that show from overhead where roads and such 'ought' to be. I'm using underground pipes and 'water view' data mode to place a grid on top of the land, and this matches the grid on my topo map.

I'm currently using Edmonton Plopable Water as a 'marker' for me to draw where I will build streams, roads and other demarcations. I would like to swap out that particular mod and replace it with a one tile grid, or crosshairs, or *something* that is easy to see from a distance and doesn't match surroundings. The advantage of Edmonton Plopable Water is that I can place parks or anything else right on top of it without having to delete the plopped 'water' first. But the water doesn't have a regular outline, and it's very dark. It would be really great if I could use this mayor mode pen to plop several different colors or flags as landmarks for development. Perhaps there could be a set of colored flags that only show on the center of a tile, plus a complimentry set of identical colored squares that exactly fit only a tile, and otherwise works like mayor mode trees? This would be great for me to freehand 'sketch' on top of the land surface and not worry about destroying slope.

Are there any mods out there that could change the cost of demolishing a building depending on whether or not it's abandoned? I would love to have the ability to do "urban renewal" on the cheap.

The cost for demolishing a building is set by the property Bulldoze Cost in the building exemplar, and that property is constant, regardless of the state of the building.

So, unfortunaly such a mod cannot be made.

I can't create modds myself as I have no experience, but will someone please create a modd that allows you to drive from city to city in UDI? If there is already something like this, tell me please. I always drive my car to see if I can drive from one city into the next, but the car just drives into the empty blackness surrounding the city. I thank anyone who makes this for me! I am sure a lot of people want something like this!

I was reading one of those realism tutorials, and the guy talked about how it was hard to make a realistic power supply, as in a regional plant that supplies practically all of your cities. You had to create tons of power plants to achieve the same effect, and that looked sort of stupid. Now I was wondering if it's possible to mod inn this kind of power plant, and possibly some plopable decorative pieces like transistors and other thingamajigs, or if it already exists.

I would like to request a mod that keeps the demand the same all the time (NOT RADICAL)

It would have all demands above 0,

R$ 4000, R$$ 3000, R$$$ 2000

CS$ 3000, CS$$ 2500, CS$$$ 1500, CO$$ 2000, CO$$$ ~1000

I-Ag ~4000-5000, I-D ~2000-3000, I-M ~1500-2500, I-HT ~2000

any other demand similar to this would be accepted 4.gif

ALSO, if you want to, make a program thing that can change demands without haveing to learn how to mod, but just type in a number of the demand and it will stay there 4.gif

Search the STEX for power and plant and you will find lots of power plants...

SimCity 4 is a simulator. One of the core elements is the simulation of supply and demand. The central part of this simulation is the capacity demand for jobs and housing, and subsequent satisfying of this capacity demand, through the growth of buildings. There is no way to fix the demands at any specific level.

1) Underground Electricity Cables.

Let's have the ability to run power lines under ground, so that we can power buildings that are out of the way (i.g. on islands) without unsightly wind power plants, or above ground transmission lines.

2) Tunnels (ploppable)

Until now, we've only been able to build tunnels when we've come up on a big hill, or mountain.  I think it would be great if we could build tunnels wherever we want.  That way, we could do things like tunnel our way to an island.  (Think Lincoln/Holland tunnels to Manhattan)

Another mod that i would want to see:

A mod that can make all the buildings not  make concrete "cliffs" when a building is built.

(See attached image if you don't know what i mean)

I know that you can change the buildings to not have those "cliffs" in the Lot Editor, but:

1. There's too many lots

2. I'm lazy 3.gif

3. I would like it to be a (few?)  files so:

          a. I can download it again when I reinstall on other computers or when SC4 gets screwed up

          b. I can just easily add/remove the file if I need to add/remove it (everybody likes it to be convenient 9.gif)
