Yeah, maybe it's just some real world hold-ups. Well, whatever it is, I can't wait for the next update.

I keep on seeing that the thread has a new reply, and I think that there is an update. And then there isn't and I'm sad.

But I'm sure a new update will come soon. It seems like it's been a while. Or maybe the cj has stopped and it'll be picked up a year later like some other, un named cj...

everybody calm down.

He is probably busy with what ever he is doing or he is making Eureka bigger. He doesn't want to rush. He wants to make Eureka good as possible for us and him to enjoy.

Hey, everybody, I'm not dead! Neither is Eureka!

    Isn't that great to read?

Over the past couple of weeks I've been really busy with my job and training for the upcoming bike racing season, so I've had little time to do things like play SimCity and update this CJ.

    Sorry!!

I love Eureka just as much as some of you do, so trust me when I say this CJ is not going to die, and it's not going to take a 9-month break like Adventures did. I promise I'll make more updates in the near future, so keep an eye out for this thread to pop up again.

Thanks so much for the support!

    I shall wait.

All I can say is awesome!!!! Found your CJ whilst looking up info on how to better my city building skills and I must say I'm glad I did 9.gif

Loved the way everything was put together I was litterally on the edge of seat hoping that Hiro would win the election....I can't wait/dread that Wendgram is back and what he will do to Eureka...he's like a disease that just won't go away...

Again love this Cj of your's and I cannot wait to see more 44.gif

    Cheers

Louisville--I just found your Eureka project yesterday and have now read all the posts.  Not only is the city impressive, but all the work you put into the captions, the aerial shots and the blogs impresses me too.

I appreciate the local influences--Beargrass Creek, for one.  And, from your regional post, Anderson sounds like the city of Louisville as it is today: Anderson's economy... producers of various sinful consumer goods including tobacco products and alcohol.  Anderson is also the largest producer of casino gambling riverboats....  Very much an old industrial town at its heart, Anderson is neither flashy nor especially memorable, despite its size.  Eureka, on the other hand, seems like what Louisville could be.  And, I have to ask, is Waller allusive of Lexington (the Red Mile track being a few blocks north of Waller Ave. in Lexington)?  Or is that another Louisville influence drawn from Churchill Downs?

Maybe it's the grid, the medium-density around the transit stops, or the diverse population, but Eureka reminds me a lot of Toronto.  All-in-all, your city is very realistic.  Keep up the good work; I'll be reading from now on.

I haven't posted at Simtropolis for a month. My other laptop died, and it's repair. It should be a new machine, when it comes back. I haven't really missed much, have I? 18.gif

I eagerly await your next adventure in Eureka, but do take your time. I'm not going anywhere. Unless this machine dies, too. 17.gif

To All Eureka Readers:[br] I apologize for being away so long. Unfortunately, due to my busy real life schedule and so much going on with work and bike racing, I've had very little time to sit at home on the computer. Because of this, I've got no choice but to put this journal on temporary hiatus. I'd much rather make tons of posts like I used to, but I just can't at this point in the year. Hopefully, this time off won't last much longer, but who knows? Keep checking every once in a while, okay?
