Do you play any yoshi?

3151: I used to play baseball in high school. The problem was that it's not a very popular sport, so we would often have to travel long distances to matches. How closest team was 20 minutes away, with hour trips not uncommon. (pretty much the entire of Melbourne was one league).

I play as Yoshi in Mario Kart, but Kirby is my favourite for super smash Bros.

In Mario Kart, I play as Baby Mario and Toadette. (Double Dash). In Smash Bros, my favorites in Brawl are Lucas, Olimar, and Link. In other games, I use Ness.

In Brawl, the best characters are Kirby, Pikachu, and Mr. Game and Watch. The worst characters are Olimar, Jigglypuff, and Diddy Kong.

 

Everyone else has pluses and minuses. Ness and Lucas can hit decently, and the ability to absorb energy projectiles to heal can be used to cause some fun headaches... but they're lightweight and they lack a good recovery move.

None of my friends really care about video games and most of my family has outgrown them. Honestly, I kinda have too... it'll be interesting when the new SSB game comes out. I want to be really excited about it because MEGA MAN is in it, but a significant part of me just doesn't care. I'd rather spend my Saturday taking a road trip somewhere.

I usually play 15 minute matches. Also I've had some decent success with Ice Climbers. Captain Falcon was near unstoppable in the first game.2. The damage ratio was on minimum. The way we play is that we each put on one item aside from final smashes, so the only items were Smash Ball, Mr Saturn (picked by me), fire flower, super scope, and heart container. The matchup was Yoshi, Link, Sheik, and Fox. I was Link, my brother was Sheik (who's male, by the way), and his friends were Yoshi and Fox. Since the damage ratio was at minimum, my brother and I were at 400% and 600% when it ended.

My favorite item is the paper fan. You can rack up a ton of damage if you spam that on someone, and it's very difficult to escape from once it's being spammed on you.

I never liked button-mashing games.  My uncle, a pretty hardcore PC gamer, calls them twitch games, because you sit there twitching at them to play.  But I always did like some sports games and racing games.  I played quite a bit in college, but ever since my kids were born, the free time I do have is spent recovering from "play time" with the babies.  They are exhausting.  Fun, but exhausting.

This is the same game where you can damage opponents by eating them and then spitting them back out, throwing vegetables (or bacon) at them, hitting them with a yo-yo, unleashing Pokemon on them, and hitting them with a stick that makes a flower grow out of their head. Suspend your disbelief a little, eh?

Tonight, I went on a bit of urban exploring inside an old, dilapidated insane asylum in the outskirts of the city. It was interesting to go inside the buildings and see the state of the little furnishings left inside. Eerie as all hell though; will post photos soon.

A lot of forum gamers are fickle. They show up and suddenly start posting a lot, then they get bored of it and disappear as fast as they showed up. This leads to spikes and lulls in activity.

It's interesting how much of this site I pay utterly no attention to. I'm in forum games a lot (naturally, it's my job to be ), along with General Off Topic and Current Events, and the secret forum that only special people can see. Every so often I poke my head into ST Related. But I pay no mind to any of the game-related stuff since I haven't touched SC4 in years and have never played any of the other city building games that are focused on!
