Missing tree(?) in city hall

Hi all, I'm having some missing props in SC4, exactly in the City Hall lot, when i plop it, it shows a brown box on a corner, like is there is something not present in the game content. Matter of fact, I've installed some custom trees, is it possible that some of them have affected part of the lots in the game? To be more precise, here is a shot of what I am now:

 

 

I use a lot of custom stuff in sc4, I remember that some of them changed the green areas inside some lots, but not exactly which one caused the missing stuff problem.

Since you say you use a lot of custom content, I presume your game version is at least 1.1.638...?

 

It sounds like you need to download and install the City Hall fix, found here:  

 

If that's not the problem, check your Plugins to see if you have Building Prop Vol1 and Building Prop Vol2.  You can find them both at this link: http://screwpile.wordpress.com/screw-pile-exchange-spex/maxis-files/

lhrob is right about the city hall fix. The Maxis City Hall has a weird thing where it grabs two random props from your MMP's, I've gotten some weird ones myself. Like freight trucks, and industrial fillers I use. The City Hall Fix mod fixed it right up

Hi, I have bought sc4 through Steam, I really don't know what version is, Anyway I keep the update checked, so I guess I have a working version 

I already have both Building Prop Vol1 and 2, now I'm going to check the City Hall Fix out. I'll let you know... Tnx very much!

Good news, the Steam (digital) version includes all game patches, which means it comes fully updated to 1.1.641.0 .

 

One thing worth considering is your City Hall appears to be slightly different than the default lot:

 

 

Note the darker stone textures (compared to your screenshot). Also, the tree on the bottom right looks like a custom prop.

Are you using a custom City Hall lot, or a tree replacement mod, such as

 

If so, double check you have installed all the required dependencies to your plugins folder, which are usually listed in the description / readme.
