So glad to see this thread is still alive!  I always enjoy seeing people other than myself take an interest in working  behind a camera.

 

I've done some night work recently.  The first image in color was shot on a digital camera, the rest were shot on a large format 4x5, aka 'View' camera.

Thanks!  They were all taken very late in the evening...between 22:00 (10PM) and 3:00 (3AM).

I visited a local alpaca farm, which was having an open house today.  Since alpacas are closely related to SimCity's mascot, I thought I'd share a couple of photos here:

Neat.  Alpacas are a lot more tractable than llamas.  They act more like funny looking sheep.

Today I visited Philadelphia City Hall's observation deck, which is over 500 feet up.  a few pictures from that.

Let me show you a WIP of the project I'm working on these last weeks:

 

 

During the last weeks, I have the purpose of having been on each one of the 170 Berlin U-Bahn stations, and taking a picture to the station name sign. As you see, I'm more than halfway on my project! All pics are taken by me, as you can see some are not really perfect.

 

Why? Well, I've been reading the history of this network during the last weeks as well, and it is incredible to relate the history with the used typographies and how the stations have been conserved and/or renovated until today. Each station tells a unique story through its typography, architecture, construction, decoration, name... and I find this fact amazing.

 

I'll post the final version when I have it

Haha, I was just reading about Berlin (the demolished Palast der Republik) on Wikipedia Amazing city. When I was in Berlin, I took some photo's of the underground too (I usually do that on holiday). The diversity is special, because in most cities, the signage is the same style in all stations.
