^ Those are some incredible pics! Your skylines look beautiful and realistic, and the arcology in the background looks really cool.

Here's one more. I should probably have put this in with my last one, but I don't want to make the post too big. And thank you MamaLuigi. :)

Here is a shot of my city that specializes in gambling and tourism. Took this shot from an angle as if I was on the roof of city hall.......post-603799-0-71545300-1363650334_thumb.

Edit: sorry, I can't figure out how to make it a full sized image in my post.... :hmph:

Here's more pictures of my second city I've displayed in the past. It's mostly residential - at least the skyscrapers are. I don't think I've yet seen a commercial skyscraper built in the city. I don't mind, tho, as the residential ones are much nicer on the eyes.

A late evening baseball game takes place:

A neighborhood fire station - with the residential skyline dominating the background:

Spark_2013-03-17_04-57-35.png

The heart of the downtown. As you can see, not many commercial towers. Mostly just 60s and 70s era boxes:

Spark_2013-03-17_04-55-56.png

You can get a better sense of the commercial area compared to the residential skyline:

The residential skyline from a smaller residential area of the city:

These are a few shots of my industrial city of Cobra Peak. This city was home to over 200,000 people and served as the main source of metals and alloy for my region's airport. Unfortunately the city has become inaccessible since it was struck by a processing error two days ago, and it looks as though the region will be permanently abandoned.Spark_2013-03-21_00-16-52.png

However, even as Cobra Valley seems to sink into oblivion, a new city and a new region are on the rise:

Just a couple from my latest city

Looks a little bit redundant. Not a criticism, I like it. Those german building are what kind of RCI?

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

Charlotte:

Charlotte's Downtown District that is being expanded by the day as it has now surpassed the Financial Zone in both prestige, and the size of its skyline.

These are the first few apartments that appears in my new Town. It is still a little town I think with less than 14k people.

Spark_2013_03_25_20_28_10.png

The first High rise condominium and you can see a departmental store now occupies the one fuel and icecream palor.

And then after that comes 2 more <3. I am playing the game only in Llama mode occasionally in cheetah mode.

This really isn't a sprawling metropolitan skyline, more a small to mid-sized mining. My most recent city of Blacksburg only has a few stoplights, two large mines, some high tech industry, and a small university, though currently is the cornerstone of a small region of roughly 50-60k people offering nearly all of the major services for surrounding communities. Its kind of a hybrid college town.

Not bad guys, not bad at all. Now, let me show you my city *curtain*.

:]

It's only at ~65,000, but I consider it my most beautiful city so far. As you can tell it is circular. I plan on making it a tourist city when I earn some money for a landmark.

Hi guys.  First time poster here.  I love all of the great work you guys did.  After royally messing up my first attempt at a region, my second attempt faired much better.

I'm a NYC native, so I tried to build what I know best, and my main electronics city sort of sprawled into a mini Midtown Manhattan.  I would love to get more high wealth commercial, but I'm having trouble maintaining high wealth.  Still a work in progress.  :)

Wow, i'm not that good with skyscrapers, they sprout up where I don't want them and completely fail to appear where they do.

<spoiler>

(this region was scrapped because simcity decided it didnt want to load my cities on this server (well , not reliably anyway)

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage
