I dearly hope so, and ditto on NAM 30 which I still have.  Also, someone said it would be called 31SE.  Which is it?

I would like to report that the model preview for the 15m avenue corner is offset by 1 tile.

TBH... I like watching the fixes unfold! Maybe I'm just a beta tester lover... But this is the most interesting thread to me on Simtropolis right now :b

I was testing something out attempting to use the DD for an inside HOV application. Seems L4 will not cross over the DD. Not sure if that is an intended function but it was quite the buzzkill.

EDIT: Oh yea forgot to mention though I believe someone already posted on it - DD will not connect to ramps. And sorry guys I'm a newb I dont know how to draw paths :( (sad I've been playing ten years I know....)

They worked fine for me too. Disappearing construction lots are exactly what they say on the tin. There are construction lots on one end of the starter pieces and they disappear when you put them down.

I would've posted this directly on SC4Devotion (don't have an account), but maybe somebody could redirect them here.

 

I was looking forward to project Symphony and you can imagine my frustration when I noticed it didn't work (yes, I did check Maxis Highway Override).

 

After removing old NAM, reinstalling new NAM, removing game, reinstalling game with only new NAM, it still did not work.

Then I tried to look at the install log, which scrolls by pretty fast. Here is what I found:

 

The NAM setup must be run with Higher Priviliges, an Administrator account (my User account isn't an Administrator account).

You get to choose the install location when you choose the Custom Installation type.

As standard location, you get presented with the Documents folder of the Administrator account.

Evidently you input your own Documents directory.

Then you choose your install options: check Maxis Highway Override

Install, start game ... no project Symphony.

 

This is what happened: the setup installed the files necessary for project symphony to function (including some other stuff) in the Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins folder of the Administrator account.

If you copy the folder z___NAM to your own Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins folder, BAM, project symphony works.

 

Hope this helps some people as I've seen some people having troubles.

If you don't install the HSR you can't use HSR bridges :read:

What’s a feature? Also, what does "inb6" mean?

 

EDIT: It turns out you’ll need the extra interchanges for the MHWs installed for these pieces to work, as per Issue #78.

Really? I thought it was a bug. Oh well. Anyway, did you read Issue #78?

 

EDIT: Are the orthogonal barriers for the RHW-6C/7C/8C supposed to be double, or single jersey barriers?

"Cannot be placed on occupied tiles". It doesn't create starters and existing stretches of MIS cannot be attached to it either. Forgot to turn drawpaths on, if you need another with that on I can totally get that, too. :D

Okay so when i tried to use the new interchange puzzle pieces for the maxis replacement highways, all i got was an empty thing when i tried to place the pieces and it wouldn't let me place them.   Please help!!

Sorry if it's not the right topic, the new NAM 31 keeps crashing!

 

I've got SimCity 4 Deluxe 1.1.638.0 (italian) (patch installed yesterday from http://www.ea.com/simcity-4-deluxe), I manually uninstalled NAM 30 today (simply by launching the uninstaller exe from NAM folder) and installed this NAM 31 on Windows 7 64 bit. It keeps CRASHING very frequently whenever I try to put any puzzle piece from the NAM, but never crashes in the the same spot or with the same puzzle piece. Since that's the first mod I use there's nothing more than NAM. The city is blank as I started it today to test the NAM. What can I do? I also have Equinox RCI Query Upgrade v2 and extra cheats plugins. If it helps, I also added these shortcut commands to the exe of the game:

 

-CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -intro:off -CPUCount:1 -CPUPriority:high

 

Please help!

The one on top is just a minor issue. It's the difference between the normal texture version and the puzzle-piece darkened version. The other three issues are caused by connecting the RHW in the wrong way. The wide shoulder lane should ALWAYS be on the outside, and in your case, both roadways go in the same direction. So what you see at the top is the RHW-4 inner ramp, while at the bottom you see the RHW-4 outer ramp (as it's supposed to be. If you would have the US texture set, at that point you circle, the yellow line flips side...


Read the Readme or drown in bugs and glitches; the choice is yours...

This happens with any network larger than the RHW 6S going under two parallel bridges that are one tile apart.

P.S. I haven't tried it with parallel bridges that are farther than one tile apart.



CONFIRMED: It only happens when the parallel bridges are one tile apart.

Lets see if we can count the different bugs here. Bear with me please.

 This is a 4 level interchange between to main arteries just to the SE of my CBD. They are intended to provide complete access of 2 8S freeways with interior DD HOV lanes. Everything was going relatively well until I tried to drag the L3 6S over the l2 4 sections. The first 6S (the one to the far left) went off without a hitch. I found a workaround where I placed a starter on each side of the freeway and met them just on the other side of the freeway. Then when I attempted to draw the others thats when all hell broke loose. Note I have not tried leaving a 1 tile gap between those sections as it just will not work for my application.

 

  The graphic glitch on the Flxfly ramp is the same one that was in RHW5.0 except I can not get this one to go away by redrawing the L0 stretch.

 

  DD pieces still not connecting.

 

  Just out of curiosity, where the hell is the transition from L0 to L1 6 and 8S?

 

 

   I am pretty sure there are more there I am just too tired to spot at the moment. Maybe you guys can! :)
