What would you rather do as a school activity: band or [American] football?

you have hit am emotional vein. I hate football, but I hate band as well. I was in band in 8th and 9th grade, and I had such a terrible band experience (I remember only playing on one song in the whole of 2nd semester, all the other people in band were snobs, and we had a long-term sub that gave preferential treatment to certain instruments - the saxophonists mostly, as the sub was a baritone saxophonist). I've quit since then and I feel it's been a wise decision

Ranting aside, I'd rather band any day.
