Toffee-ettes from See's Candies.  Toffee with a whole almond covered in chocolate and then rolled in crushed almonds.  Actually, these candies have too many almond pieces for me, yet I can't stop eating them.

Bells Hopslam... a ridiculously delicious beer with an equally ridiculous distribution scheme.  They hype it up and release so little that the scarcity of the beer creates a manic mob of beer lovers trying to drive all over town just to get a 6 pack.  It's a genius tactic, but I hate them.

A bowl of jjajangbap (짜장밥), which is made with steamed white rice topped with pork and vegetables in fried black bean sauce.  A few days ago I had made Maangchi's version of jjajangmyeon (짜장면), which uses thick noodles instead of rice, and I need to finish off the leftover sauce today.  Fortunately, the local Asian grocery store had Korean chunjang black bean paste available, so I got to learn just how authentically messy this scarily dark stuff can truly be when cooking and eating.
