And with this good news, the work can restart, I improved small details for the Westin Peachtree. Add some stuff for the garage, add a F-250 , and prepared the building for work with the FAR road mod

Looking good! I like the idea to make it (the ploppable version(s), at least) adapt to the FAR network, too. What about the entrance to the car park, though? Will it line up with the grid?

Actualy, I want to finish the Westin Peachtree before begun anything else.

But Albany is not in my future projects, not yet . A lot of persons asked some buildings since a moment who I have promise to do.

Those buildings are secrets but they come from LA and Phillie

In the same time, I would like modeled some stores and fast food for small cities and area near downtown several, inspired from Lexington, KY . The game need buildings like this. And why not some residentials

So, here my projects for this travel through the USA, no limit . An variety of US builings for an great and better reality, and for the immortal game: SC4

Here an first picture of the Westin Peachtree from Atlanta by night. Some details need to be fixed on the light reflections for the windows of the lobby.

And I would like add several furnitures on the room inside the building where we can see through the glass

The base, the Westin sign and Braves sign, and roof lights.... STUNNING !!!

But there's something confusing about the tower windows. There's too much randomness and too much brightness I can't tell what's a window and what's a reflection, it's all blending into too much. I think if you control the lights a little bit more, once again you will have a DK35 masterpiece

Hi. I am new at creating BAT's. Since you are a professional maybe you can teach me? I got 3ds max but have no clue where to begin! First how do I scale my creations to fit sc4? How can I make buildings? How can I put textures and lights?

Oh, so I'm not the only one who was thinking that? Phew I looked at some pictures of it, and I thought that as well. It seems a tad small, yet I couldn't care less considering the immense detail

Thanks guys for your criticisms, it's always useful to improve BATs

 

I've checked the size of the building, and it seems correct.

The real building is tall of 220 meters, like the green box on the picture, and the in-game size like the orange after applied the 133 rules scale, and is high of 292 meters.

 

About the night, I need to down the reflection level of the windows and, I think it shoild be ready

 

@KonstantinII: Welcome at BATting, and thanks  . If you're a little lost with the beginning it's simply normal, 3dsmax is a complex tool but when you'll have understood it, you'll became an BAT factory's .

Look on the forum, you can found many tuto, done by a lot of BATters who explained how to use this tool, done your own textures and export the building in the game
