While everyone is entitled to an opinion, it IS BAD TASTE AND CLASSLESS on your part to diminish someone elses work, these cities take time, lots of time, anyone can create anything they want, EVEN YOU!! I think you should apoligize

This is looking great. However 1 suggestion. You might want to build up the area between Downtown and midtown a little more. Keep it up!

    Too many Wren Insurances!
You may want to get the mod for that if you haven't already. Called Go Away Wren!

I thought that perhaps you may want to create more traffic for New York, because, well, it's New York! 1.gif If you do, you can go to unusalfire's Traffic Success thread and find a mod that will add more automata without lowering road capacities, thus giving a way more realistic look to Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge.

These are just some suggestions to accent an already awesome New York 2! Good work!

(I used the traffic mod on my region, The Great Plains, and it gave it a really realistic look! It's great.)

Actually, in real life that area is mainly rowhomes (greenwich village), and some 10 or so story apartment buildings, no skyscrapers, really.

The night pic is really cool! Great job Superstar! 44.gif

Why does one drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Why is delivery by boat called a cargo and one by land called a shipment?

That is an awsome job you have done re-creating newyork, very awome job indeed, must have taken alot of precise measurments for roads etc. needs work around the twin towers area, the shore line looks a bit jagged, need some piers and such etc. great job anyway, keep it up. 44.gif

Superstar, let me say that the hype that preceded this project a few weeks ago is being lived up to!  Good job man.  This is totally the game's workings, but the only faults I can see are..
    (1) Wren insurance buildings.. too many, as some have already mentioned.
    (2) Too many botiques.  Those @* bright blue, excessively ubiquitous commerical service buildings... I wish someone could BAT something a little less eye-catching so there's more building variety.  One thing I did (and I haven't let it run long enough to see if it's effective) is to download the commerical services multiplier by Toroca.  Oddly enough, I found it at SimCity Central, but not here on Simtropolis.
    (3)  I think some additional seaports would be in good taste.  Also, developing the shoreline would be rather difficult, but absolutely necessary in my opinion (Battery Park comes to mind).  Unfortunately Peg's lots aren't currently available, but if you have the time and resources, I highly recommend doing something with the shore, other than leave it as a beach.

Thanks for listening, keep up the good work 29.gif

New York must be very nice with all those abandoned buildings in the central park area and you did a very nice intro to the UN.

Central Park looks pretty good, you only need to detail it a bit now, and what is that picture doing there? Is an admin going to come and delete it?

hisc1229: If you want to show off your city then start a City Journal of your own.

Central park looks really good, a few paths would be good. Marrast had some paths on the exchange that are pedestrian enabled, that would be good.

    Good job continue!
