Steve, this was....interesting!

First I can see that the folks in Spencerville, are.... how shall I put it... 42.gif inventive would be appropriate, seeing how the lumber mill connects (which by the way is the first time I see this) to the Nexis Grain elevator, one could always think that some sawdust could be used as a filler in the chicken feed! 22.gif  rumors rumors, but hey! I won't tell if you don't!

Seriously, (am I ever?), this was very good and personal, I liked  the sloped parking, the connection between the mill and elevator,  and can't wait to see how it will develop!

Good to have you back!

Take care

Looks great sorchin. I must draw your attention to a rather interesting typo you made.

This next Pic will connect the Fright Station with the Lumber Mill...quote>

So, we can expect scares galore in the fright station? 18.gif

    Update 27 "The River"

    macedonasorchincj2wx.gif

In this update I have decided to extend PEGS pond and strean into a large river. It's a simple little tweak in the LE that accomplished this task. I have also added a few Mosaics.

    enjoy:

Lets continue from this farmers little pond...

    streamtoriver18yr.jpg

    And...

    streamtoriver22rq.jpg

I will now add a little waterfall. Something you don't normaly see in a farmers field. But this is fantasy, and in fatasy we can do what we want right.....

    waterfalladded5bd.jpg

Lets allow the stream to flow into the big river... A simple but effective idea (I think)43.gif

    intoriver5tj.jpg

Lets liven this area up a bit by adding flora...

    floraadded5xr.jpg

    Some more...

    floraadded23on.jpg

    floraadded35dh.jpg

and even more... From a different angle...

    floraadded43jz.jpg

    And Finally...

    floraadded54xf.jpg

Time to show you a few mosaics of what I have done in Spencerville so far....

    mosaic3tiles0nz.jpg

Lets move a little to the right...

    mosaic4tiles4tn.jpg

And for the last pic of the day.. A panned out view of the entire area (well.. most of the area)...2.gif

    bigmosaic7mo.jpg

    I hope you enjoyed.

Next update might not come until early next week. I have no time at the moment..

Take care everyone and God bless...

Steve, very good use of PEG's stream, the addition of flora, made all the difference in the world.

I'm just not sure if a RL farmer would keep those logs on his fields?

    The rest is simply beautiful!

    Take care

    Welcome back Steve.

I wished I had posted earlier but better late than never...

I love the farms, amazing settings. The spring, dirt roads and streams are beautiful details and lend a very nice touch. Great to see that kind of stuff back. As for your BATting, great job with that figurine.

    Take care my friend.

Darmok: Hey my friend John. Thanks mate. To be honest I see quite a few things that could be improved2.gif. Concerning the farmers field, I was hopeing the pine trees would grow more to "block out" that particular area. Thus far they haven't grown much. I'll probably plop some fully grown tree flora there instead.

CarmineHilton: Hello and welcome. Here is the water   here is the beach mod   here is the flora   here is the tree flora. Hope this helps...

szkarkoz: Thanks my friend. I hope to see you again44.gif

kwakelaar: Hey buddy. I used PEGS 3x1 waterfall tile. then I changed two of the tiles to water and left one for land. If you want PM me, send me your email address (I might still have it but just in case) and I'll send it to you..44.gif And thanks my friend...

    bat: Thanks my friend...

PhilsCafe: Hey Phil C. How are ya buddy?? Thanks for your great comments my friend and it's great to hear from you. Talk to ya soon mate.44.gif

sloppet: Always nice to hear from you my friend. Thanks for your kind words...4.gif

kant01: Thanks very much mate. I appreciate it. Yes I love the rural CJ's too...

BerlinDude: Thnk you very much mate: I really enjoy the detail...

Yoman3:I know it's sucks doesn't it? (opps, I better shut up43.gif). Seriously thanks my friend. Your welcome anytime. Sarcasm and all...2.gif

sime1234: Hey buddy. Thans my friend. Congrats on your Supportive Sequential Solaris award. I don't know what it means but it sure looks cool2.gif

owenluby: Thanks my friend and welcome. Come back anytime...

frogface: Thanks my friend and welcome. The rural look and feel was in part inspired by your great work mate.44.gif Thanks again.

Fabiocb: Thanks my friend and welcome..

    BAT Update

Over the weekend I was planning on working a little with my city Spencerville. However I worked on my Statue BAT instead. What started out as a 1 statue no bells and whistles BAT is turning out to be a medium sized BAT with bells and whistles46.gif. So I have decided to show you a few pics of my new (hopefully soon to be released) BAT. It still has a fair amount of work (more fences, trees etc). But is comming along nicely I think. I have also been hard at work learning Ilive. I'll never learn it to the level of some, but if I can get a basic understanding of it I'll be happy29.gif

This first pic is the statue alone...

    statuesheildmanwtextures0lt.jpg

This is with a riser below the statue...

    riseonstatue3lq.jpg

The next pics are more additions to what was once a small BAT...43.gif

    stairsadded0cj.jpg

    statuesheildman8gb.jpg

    statuebasepillarsset4uv.jpg

and finally. I have also changed the texture of the main statue. The Ivy thing just wasn't doing it for me with this BAT...

    allstatues7kw.jpg

I promise a proper "city" update by mid week. Take care everyone and have a great day...

Hello everyone. Sorry for no update (like I promised) midweek43.gif. I'm in my busy season at work and it's been...well busy. I have finished two BATS this week (the Statue and an extender bridge). I will be working hard on an update over the weekend (hopefully I'll have time). I want to thank everyone for your continued support. I appreciate it.44.gif
