Best port ever, btw did you bat those large paved aea props under the CNIT or are the textures.... shame you didnt go further and include the area under monorail, thats the only thing that even hints towards a a flaw. otherwise beautiful.

Two great updates!

I love those spatious avenues, and I love that the houses become smaller behind the avenues at the smaller roads.

That  diagonal avenue does add a lot, too! 16.gif

That luxury port is surely a beauty, but I really wonder how you connected it to the surrounding cities,  especially since Monorail isn't seen a lot in CJs!

Take care (and don't forget to make backups!)

Great port. I like the diagonal use of the California Plaza, I was just considering doing that yesterday.

Oh, slow progress on Aureliano port area, but still have some more pics of current developing. But some answers first.

To Ilikehotdogsalot: I don't know too 2.gif Thanks! Wow 9.gif

To Pitito21: Oh, thank you! Glad you like it.

    To Benedict: Oh, thanks man!

To Jacqulina: Great that you like this port Jackie! Thank you 4.gif

To Callbat: Oh, thanks! And what you meend boat lots only? Those with piers made from maxis freight platforms? 4.gif Look... there's a little trick with these piers - it's an underwater lot with lifted props, so i lifted the lakebottom at the appointed level and then i try to catch this level with props by rising them it LE.. kinda bornig because most of the time i need to fix props level to get the right one (i'm running SC4, plop it down, if it doesn't fit i quit, enter LE, fix the level of the props, that run my SC4 again and plop it again and if it does't fit... well 9.gif ) So in case you'll have these lots, you'll need to rise your bottom, level it, plop the lot, and if it doesn't fit rise the bottom again, level it again and then plop and then and then.. ugh 9.gif So you still want to have it? 2.gif

To Panthersimcity4: Oh, thank you for this compliment! 4.gif

To Bobinator: Thank you! Concerning this marina - may be it looks a bit cramped but for me it looks as it should be. Since there is a lack of marina custom props over the net and since most of the props are splitted with each other (i meen, it hard to find a good yacht - only a yacht with a pier and other yachts, it's hard to find a good pier, only a piers with different buildings at the shoreside)... and since i don't want to lay my hands on BATool again... this is the best result for me to see in this area 4.gif

    To Lucky7: Thanks my friend!

To Krbe: Really? That's cool! 4.gif I should google some Singapore ports pics 2.gif

To Mightygoose: Thank you! And those.. things are from Porkissimo's Paris diagonal BATs - i oftenly use his diagonal ground props for making things like this. So since i didn't batted it, i have some limitations 4.gif I also think that it's okay with grass under this monorail so.. thanks again 4.gif

To Nardo69: Thank you very mutch! Well, this monorail line will connect port area with Aureliano metro area only - this is one and only proposed monorail line in the whole city at this time. Can't see any problems in connection between city tiles with monorail actually! I'm also planning to use some kind of blank port lots to feed a seaport demand of the city tile so... (backupped 2.gif ..)

    To JanYpe: Thank you!

    To Feliwi: Thanks man!

To Joetropian1: Thanks! For me it fits really well in there 4.gif

So! Finnaly few fresh pics of the port area. I've finished some freight mooring, so here it is.

Yeah, you should consider releasing some of these excellent lots someday. 4.gif Lately, there just seems to be a eave of CJers who are not only very talented at building cities, but also talented at creating realistic custom lots to spruce them up even more. I truly think hat you're sort of leading this particular wave, if you know what I mean. 2.gif

Those parking lots look nice, but then again, everything is. I like the strips of land that branch out from the mainland, very good job building on them. Lastly, the variety in the ships in the water add a lot to an already lively scene.

Criquette- Greatness shines from this CJ like the sun emerging from behind the clouds after a weeklong rainstorm.  Your imagination sends the banal and the mundane running for cover.  It's hard to leave here- you know that elsewhere is bound to disappoint.

Yeah, my friend- I'm a fan.  Been one for years.  I am so glad Aureliano is back.

This is just so incredibly brilliant. I'm in awe! I mean, the way you use lots, the tiny details here and there, your image editing, the layout, it's all perfect. The only thing that annoys me a little is the blur effect you use on the shots, but that's just I want to see all the details in your pics. 3.gif Fantastic stuff though. My favorite stuff so far is the main plaza downtown and the lot with the triangular building in the port.

This is a genuinely inspiring Journal, beautiful cities with beautiful images - I'm glad that you've decided to revive this.

I hate to dampen things but that "non-dithering" looking water mod is an eyesore compared to the clinical precision of everything else that is on show - no doubt you're already onto fixing it but its just unlike what you've been doing with the quality of presentation in this Journal - I hope that you see this more as an encouragement rather than a critique of your work!

*drools* that's one amazing port! I haven't seen or made a port of that scale. Haha, I'll give my port areas a shot. nice custom plops btw. I'm amused that you're not using SimGoober's new ports. it's still nice without 'em. anyways, I hope to see more from your works. take care

I just had to come back to tell you that I'd be so great if you released the edited marina lots on the STEX. They are gorgious, and, at least, I would love to have these... Looking forward to more,

    and take care my friend,

What the heck have been missing here!

I been here a year already and this is the first time i have seen this CJ. And what a masterpiece! The city looks inspiring and the port is as majestic! The storyline is realistic and overall this is one of my favorite CJs!

BTW- Where did find the dependancy for SOMY's seaport?( I don't have the cars for the parking garage)

i know the cj may be over but i want to say something 4.gif

I've never thought, that I would reply to your cj. I just wanted to look at the progress, because there are no words to describe your work. "Incredible" and "unbelievable" are the words to describe the words, which I had to use to given an adequate comment. Besides the fact that I can't BAT, I will never be creative enough to use all the great BATs out there properly. You've some amazing ideas and I hope you are going reanimate your cj someday.

This is in my opinion the greatest looking CJ here. The terrain is spectacular, and so is the construction.
