No. I had the same problem, when i was trying to buy. The problem could be that you are using other browser than Internet Explorer. It does not work if you use Opera. Firefox, I don't know. Cheers Lacivian

how does online play effect your decision to buy cities xl?

Hello. I think that what makes Cities XL real attractiv is the online play. Dont think that i dont want solo mode. I want, but i think that solo mode is more for practice, or for people who likes it more that way. But, the real beauty of citybuilding is much more than just building, its interaction between cities, mayors, companies, signing treaties, and attracting people, companies from other cities, just like in real life, and i think this are the real motiv why you build. Why just dont have online City Journals where you can look every time you want. These are my ideas. Have a nice day! -

Hello! I had the same look, when ingame i changed the shadow detail from medium to low. Until i restarted the game. Have a look if you are playing with 16, or 32 bit. you shoulld maybe change to 32, and restart the game.
