C:/ drive on my other computer is full, really, there are only 500MB free space left (!). I just want to install SC4, but I want the folders located in F:/Simcity 4 instead. Please help

You can choose where you want to install during the installation.

At a certain moment it asks where to put the files, and the default is in C/program files

But you can just type another location and it will work fine, except that regions and screenshots will still be put in mydocuments, which is usually in C.

^Problem being that a Plugins suite can grow large pretty fast. You can change where the My Documents folder is stored entirely and it won't effect anything (you won't have to reinstall a bunch of programs). Check this out [link].

So, if you, for example move your My Documents to F:/, will SC4 put its directory there? I guess its actually coded in C:/, under the assumption that Maxis knew that most of its buyers don't usually do these sorts of stuff.

The location of My Documents is a system variable, and any install needing the location will put it there, including SC4.
