Help to install NAM on Windows 11

My kids blew up our city with a nuclear explosion 20 years ago. Now that they understand my loss at the time they got me a new SimCity haha.

I installed the 4g patch first which said it was installed successfully, but now I am having trouble installing the NAM mod on windows 11. This is the window that comes up.

I disabled ESET. I even did a system restore to remove the patch but unsuccessful.

I assume i need to disable windows defender but it keeps referring to ESET

I hope someone can help. Thanks

The error message is telling you that the .exe for the 4GB Patcher is not in the correct folder. You’ll need to extract that from the .zip file as well as the BAT script to apply it.

Thanks. Can you please tell me what folder I put the patch and the NAM.bat in.

This is the path I dropped the 4G patch on: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps\simcity4.exe. It said installation successful but then got the above error when I tried to install the NAM mod

so I reinstalled the 4G patch and tried to install the NAM but now I get this error and. Pressing a key closes the window. I still can't install

If you managed to manually patch the SC4.exe directly, you should NOT run the BAT file, rather directly run the NAM installer (JAR) file instead.
 

The error is because you don’t have the 4GB patcher in the same folder as the BAT script. But as I mention, you shouldn’t be using the BAT file anyhow.
