I'm having problems with this message composition applet. It doesn't work right in MSIE. It turns all links to that null Simtropolis page, it adds too many lines between paragraphs, and it changes images to <object>.

Here is a multipurpose building by Uwason. He says he can't get the lighting to work. Download here ( http://uwason.client.jp/biru.zip ).

Damn, the program used to unzip some of the Japanese BATs has run out of the free-trial time. Any way you could tell me how to get it so I can open them without the program? I really need some of thease BATs.

EDIT - 14\Mar\05
Download this file  and double-click it. You will need to browse to where you want it extracted to.
You will then have a folder named GCA with 3 files in it, double click GCA.EXE.
When the window comes up, go to the top left and click.
When the menu opens, click the THIRD line down and you will get a standard OPEN FILE window.
Browse to your GCA archive and select it.
You will then get a selection of things, ignore and click OK.
CLICK OK AT NEXT POP-UP.
There will now be a subfolder in the same folder as the original *.gca file. This contains the extracted files.
Job done.
The explanation is because the program is in Japanese. Hope that helps.
Eddie.

When the window comes up, go to the top left and click. When the menu opens, click the second line down and you will get a standard OPEN FILE window. Browse to your GCA archive and select it. You will then get a selection of things, ignore and click OK. The next choice is the standard 'the folder doesn't exist', click YES. Job done. The explanation is because the program is in Japanese. Hope that helps. Eddie.

Grrr, it still won't work. Ok, when I get the folder named GCA with three files in it, I click the blue icon. Then I get that open file and the menu etc. but then what? 46.gif (I need an idiot's walkthrough)

My apologies Boggy1, I was doing other things when I tried to explain the first time. Please see edited version above.
Here's another way:-
Put your *.gca archive in the same folder as gca.exe.
Drag and drop *.gca to gca.exe.
<ahttp://www.eddiemannsc4.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/GCA1.JPG align=baseline>

When screen comes up, click OK
<ahttp://www.eddiemannsc4.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/GCA2.jpg align=baseline>

Next screen, click OK.
<ahttp://www.eddiemannsc4.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/GCA3.jpg align=baseline>
You will now have a subfolder.
<ahttp://www.eddiemannsc4.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/GCA4.jpg align=baseline>

Which contains your extracted files.
<ahttp://www.eddiemannsc4.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/GCA5.jpg align=baseline>

Hope that's helped.
Eddie.

Well, instead of creating a new folder, it just creates a Zip File, which is again The Compressed (Zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted.

And yes, I am Welsh. 5.gif

It has nothing to do with NAM as that's an ST project, you can d\l the bridge if you go to this page , click  English on left sidebar, click Transport(road) and scroll down to what you want.

Eddie.

This station is outstanding.  Screw the Grand Railroad station, this one is my new standard for urban stations.

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

Howdy,

Armandeus and Eddiem, I don't mean to horn in on your turf, but there's a new brick apartment building at Rogutaro's BBS, and NOB has released an excellent new seaport.
