These are the very special awards to me because they're awarded by the community, so I would like to thank everyone who voted. You are the ones that keep this event alive.

I'd also like to thank you for nominating me in the two categories, the Merit of Team Spirit and the Most Useful Feedbackin Custom Content Threads, which are very dear to me.

On behalf of the NYBT I'd like to thank you for your continuous support and interest in all the projects of our members. It's very demanding to try and recreate the most famous city n the world and some of the most iconic architecture of our time. So thank you for that, it means a world to us. Also a big thank you to all the other nominated teams, you are great inspiration to us.

Thank you for the nominating the ABBT for the favorite BAT team and for the award for the best industrial BAT(s). It is by far great honor to not only win the latter, but be also without the competition. This shows that community recognizes the meaning of area of the game we have invested in. Let us be reminded that although we do not have the power to change the real world injustice against good architecture, we have the power to preserve it for ourselves in the unprecedentedly great game of SimCity 4.

Thank you community, Dirk, site staff for making this site a safe haven for  SC4 fans trough the years and congratulations to everyone who got nominated or won Trixie. Let us witness many more years of active community and being in charge of creating and upgrading this spectacular game

this was a year of team work [NYBT-Abbt, UN-Team, SCAG, NAM, Trixies]

a good show of perseverance realized [Cadillac Tower -NoFunk, HK Admin Bldg -Amthaak, the UN project, SCAG team Airbus project {scag's pressing on in the face of lose} and others] it set the bar of excellence even higher...

The UN- Project is particularly notable...

I also wish to extend an honorable mention -if I may, to madhatter for the 'mid-rise' bennent buster packs as they spiced up the variety of many of my sim cities

Some slightly intriguing stats:

- 162 members won a Trixie for 2011. That's more than any other year except 2010, when there were 180.

- 269 total awards were given out for 2011. Also more than any other year except 2010, when there were 316.

- on the other hand, only 43 of the winners were first time winners. Fewer than any other year except 2003, when there were 40.

- there were only 630 nominations, the fewest of any year on record... although the number for 2003 is unknown and probably lower

All told there have now been 1767 Trixie awards given to 532 members. The average winner has 3.32 awards. The average member has 0.0038. 0.114% of ST Members have at least one Trixie.

So, little awkward and not to toot my own horn or anything but today I noticed a small medal in my profile. Curious I clicked it and learned just two days ago I was awarded by the NAM Team 2011 for Highest Technical Achievement in Custom Creations (don't mind me bragging just a little bit right?! ). Probably for my showcase over at SC4D, found here.

Pleasantly surprised I wanted to say thanks and was looking for the official Trixie Awards page or something but I can't seem to find it. All that turns up when searching the forums for 'Trixie Awards' are either dead-end links or, just as annoying, posts which are in the 'general discussion' section. Great, only 387 pages to look for the actual thread . .

So if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be appreciated. Just as the Trixie Award is. Thanks, V.

The award ceremony is no longer visible since the site upgrade took place. We might one day put a listing up in the Omnibus, but that's kind of low on our list (unless someone out there wants to do it for us...)
