Excellent amount of detail put into your forests and such, jeroni. I am still loving your mountains. It's really great how natural your new City journal is, I love it. 19.gif

Wow, that is fantastic. Your terraforming makes Earth look ugly, ha-ha (another words, your terraforming is beautiful as can be). I was wondering if you were going to leave a lot of land untouched? If you are, I'm sure the wild life will be happy... if you settle most of the land, I'm sure the settlers will be happy -lol-

Oops. I said I would follow your new CJ from scratch and then I start by missing out on the first 9 pages since I have been busy with other things. I have skimmed through the pages and I really admire your patience with the terraforming part. It will be really nice to see the development of this CJ.

Nice layout with the ANT as main access and the dirt street modded street as secondairy access. I guess I could used to it ... guess I have to try out, too.

About the power only one some single points in the ara I do agree with you. It is just hard if you want to put a big Power Plant into a small town (which isn't that saldom ... ) IRL these small communities receive a lot of cash whereas in the game these are really hard to maintain.

Sorry for not posting earlier but if you turn around for 5 seconds your CJ has been grown for at least 5 pages ...

As I can see people are P.O.S.T. ing here! Page 9 already, 11 replies on it. Let's start from the pictures. The farming  is really fantastic! Those roads with ston walls are magnificent! From picture 1.08 I only don't  understand why there is this mediterrain building.. For me it looks a bit not so nice... So far picture 1.06 is the best picture here! The overall view oof this region part is also good, the trees are nice! Sa Roca Rotja is great! And now the Wind Farms... They are really nice! You have done a piece of good work! In the last picture of Wind Farms Hill the tunnel exit (or entrance) is a bit weird... It Looks from here like it is floating in air... But it isn't ... Keep it up jeronij, I hope soon I'll see here 20 pages and more! 44.gif

    Regards,
    Sloppet

    Jeronij-

Thank you for answering my questions, I really appreciate it.  Also, thanks for the detail about how you have decided to power your cities.  When I build cities, I like to use power systems that affect the landscape and environment as little as possible, so I often use windmills, too.  In older versions of the game, though, they didn't provide much power, so I always ended up having to build some big, nasty, stinky, polluting power plant.  What a drag.  I have looked through some of the BATs here and found some interesting alternatives and am thinking about trying them out.  I like some of the solar power BATs, especially.

Now for another stupid question.  What are ANT streets?  And why did you use them instead of the ones that come in the game?  I have downloaded and installed the dirt roads for rural areas and REALLY like the way they look in the game.  I have also downloaded but not yet installed the latest NAM mod, as I am not certain how to use it and the puzzle pieces of roads it's supposed to contain, in fact, I'm not really even certain what puzzle pieces are.  You can see, I have lots of learning left to do!

In my own city, I have been experimenting with smoncrie's Hole Digging lots, trying to build sunken roads and highways, then pave the sides of the embankments with various walls.  I think I may be getting the hang of it, although turning the tiles around to face in the correct direction is still a challenge.

Anyway, Simtropia is looking great and I am glad to see you are able to find time to update it and post into your CJ so often.  I wouldn't worry too much about the B someone awarded you...this project is an A+ in my opinion.

Holy cow, I'm high up there! At first I thought it was like a poll to see who people liked and didn't like, and I was like, wow, a lot of people like me... lol... but now I realize it is all about how many times I post replies in here.

Yep funnel is a good word for it!

And the location you've chosen look's like a natural spot for it. And it looks more like photograhs than screen shots.

Will you do an access road for the maintenance crew, or will they go there by helicopter?

    Very well done amigo!

    Take care

    gggg

Well, I'm sure I'm not opening a new CJ in jeronij's CJ here. and I do not know what would jeronij say about opening a CJ in his CJ, but I think that it would be a very original idea... Although I wouldn't like to have a CJ in my CJ, maybe jeronij will want one... hmm nah.. I think that he will rather prefer to have only a CJ without a CJ in it... Oh, and gggg - P.O.S.T. goes for Post Opinions in Simtropia Today
