    Hello dear Simtropia visitors....

Yes. It´s me again. After a long and relaxing break, I feel my batteries charged again, and I have decided to play this(put your desired adjective here) game again and share it with you all 2.gif.

    New times, new rules 34.gif

&m*****t2.gif There will be no regular updating frequency...you know....RL is omniscent....and the day has only 24 hours.....

&m*****t2.gifThere will be no more BAT work previews. In fact I have abandoned this tool. BUT, I´ll take it back if I feel the need for my playing needs 3.gif !!!

&m*****t2.gifI wont play a single region anymore. I will show from now on, some clipping about my cities, but not necessarily interconnected or "brother in region".

&m*****t2.gifThe next months, there will be mainly rural and low density developments. I dont want high towers at the moment, but who knows in the future.....38.gif

&m*****t2.gifI´ll try to reply all the requests (if any) but I please you to understand my lack of time, so be sure that every single support or constructive criticism post will be welcome.

And with no more delay, lets see some pictures. This new city still belongs to the original Simtropia region and I tried an ultra-terrainconforming style for farming communities areas here. I hope I got somethig credible.... 43.gif

Let me introduce you the city of Terreno

250906 01 - First lets have a look to the highway that crosses the city, and the transit connections around it.

250906 02 I hope you can see the tunnel....

    jrjterreno0102sjl8.jpg

250906 03 Now an overall look to the situation. As you can see, this is a quite and peaceful rural area. The most remarcable area is the landfill.

    jrjterreno0103sno9.jpg

250906 04 Seen from another point of view. I call your attention to the small farm on the top of the hill....

    jrjterreno0104seu1.jpg

250906 05  I think with that one you are clearly situated 2.gif

250906 06 Time for some details... I was testing a new walls texture....not sure about it, but anyway I´ll keep using it in the future.

    jrjterreno0106sev9.jpg

250906 07 At this moment, the city was quite small, and only some farms and a small industrial zone were developed.

    jrjterreno0107svp1.jpg

250906 08 Time to have a look to the landfill area.

    jrjterreno0108svw2.jpg

250906 09 Here you can see the lots combination I used to create this facility....I hope you dont mind smoking a little bit...coff...coff....

    jrjterreno0109soh9.jpg

250906 10 A zone view on the landfill area...( as mentioned some time ago, I have problems getting garbagge to show, so this landfill will never be full 34.gif  2.gif

    jrjterreno0110stt3.jpg

250906 11 And finally, one of my favourites pics in that city. Do you remember the small farm on the hill ?¿

I hope you like the way the city is being build... If so, just let me know 2.gif

Next update as soon as posible

PD: Oh, I hope you dont really mind that I re-open this CJ...I am too short of time to open a new one, and I still like most of the things shown here...43.gif

He my friend. I'm glad you've decided to come back even from time to time. I really miss your journal updates. Love the farming community jeronij. I usually just create a custom lot in LE whenever I want landfill sites because garbage doesn't fill up in my cities either..

It's like faking your own death Jeronij... your CJ was longed for and now that it's back, It's more popular than ever! At least we are seeing the recovery of our members from RL. Nice update! everybody's doing farms these days and you're farms look great! it sucks that your landfill won't work, why not import some from it's neighboring town or city. I love that farm on the hill, it looks nice. I can't wait for the next update. Keep it up and thank you for reviving simtropia!

    Take Care,

    Charles

9.gif Very glad you decided to come back jeronij.       I am glad you had some time to regroup and recharge.     I think we all need that from time to time.      I love that you are focusing on rural cities for the time being.   It so happens that currently that is what my focus is on.     I love to see rural communities.    It always reminds me of my childhood.      We lived in a small town like that.     The town itself had a little hardware store, a bank, a small grocery store, a couple of old churches...      All of which were locally owned and operated.    No big chains or fast food restaurants, just a couple of local eateries.      (Sometimes I wish I could BAT, just to be able to make those buildings of my childhood, LOL)   It had alot of space (ie. farms, orchards, woods, etc) around it.      I will always love agricultural/rural areas and the small towns that seem to grow up in those types of areas.

Well, sorry to ramble on about my childhood memories.    I'll just say that it is good to have you back and I love the stuff you are working on.    Oh yeah, and thaks for taking the time to share it with all of us.

    --- Gaston

Yeah! You're back 3.gif The pics are looking great! I've one question:  Is that building next to the 'BSC Waste To Energy Plant' in the 8th and 9th pic created by you? If not, could you give me the name of it? Thanks!
