    Hello to all,

Thanks for the nice comments and feedback  44.gif !!!

I´ll try to answer some of your questions 2.gif

The extra rural pic belongs to the next city to come. A transition between rurality and urbanity located near Peraires. The city is actually under development, but I´ll post some aditional pics while I finish Peraires.

The plopable trees on the open grass tiles... well, If I remember right, in the set that I released to the STEX, plopable trees were only posible in the 1X1 grass filler. Please, correct me if I am wrong 43.gif.  In the other lots was not posible to place nothing,

I have been working in an (unfinished so far) improved version from those set, which allows to plant trees on them. As mentioned, this is an unfinished version and I think I have only two or three tiles working.  Not sure if I will ever release this improved version.

The key to be able to plant trees is to change the building and props´s Occupant Size property to something small like "1,0,1" (with the Iliver Reader for example).  After this modding work, you have to re open the lot in LE and replace the props and the building. It does not take too long ;-D

Again thanks for being a so great community !!! Next update in progress.....

As someone brand new to the game, your work has absolutely floored me. How I'll conquer the depression that's set in now that I've reached the last page in your journal is beyond me at the moment. I suppose best remedy is to go back and look at all the pictures from the beginning again.

You really have produced something beautiful.

wow, this region - it just stuns me

it's the best thing next to realism (sometimes even much better than reality)

how many hours have you already spent with this region?

one more thing (if it's not too much asked, which it probably is 15.gif ) - could you post a list with all the mods and plugins you are using (you don't need to put links to them, i'll take the trouble of finding them myself 4.gif but names would be very helpful )

thanks, and keep up the outstanding work 9.gif

Hello dear Simtropia visitors !!!It is time for some feedback and some fresh pics again Lets start with the feedback, I am glad that you noticed the farm...you will see some closeups soon , a warm welcome to the community !!!, thanks for the compliments, maybe you can have a look to Sculpting Columbia River CJ for some more tips , also a warm welcome to Simtropolis !!!, there are really lots of hours behind each pic in this CJ...not only playing, but also designing new pieces and stuff ... You may also check Sculting Columbia River for more pic on this "style"To all: Thanks for your nice comments and compliments. Your feedback is always greatly apreciated !!!. Also thanks for the compliments about the extra stuff I make, like the trees and the walls....I enjoy making them and I feel glad that other players find it useful !!!Now it is time for some more pics...lets see how Peraires is developing....Most of the new buiildings seen in those pics were finally removed. I have to say that that day I was not exactly inspired .... so lets think about this update like a "What you should not do" update... As the residents number increased, some health facilities were needed.... ´s Hospital was the choice for this city tile.... The hospital increased the area´s desirability... some more med rise houses took place in the area... Now this corner of the city is finished... Another view on the area, from the "back".... Now it was time to develop the center of the city... As you can see, a BSC´s commercial center was offered to the city. Some space was reserved right in the middle of the area...  Unfortunately, due to the way I play the game, the requirement for this commercial shopping center could not be accomplished in that city ... A final look to the hospital area.... And to the projected shopping center.... As you can see, Mayor Jeronij decided to make some changes to the middle area of the city. To the south of the pic you can see a medium rise residential development project. To the north of the pic you can see one of those great BSC growable mega lot.... This is the med rise residential area mentioned in the pic above. R$$$ does not fit in this area ...mmm.... This was a good place to test all the residential highrise building lastly released to the STEX... lets the game play itself a bit ....  Well, some nice residential skyscrapers did grow....but something weird happened to the Shopping center ?¿?¿ What the hell ...!!! I tried several times to fix the shopping center, but since it does not have a "Make historical" button, after some minutes changes to this set of hotels The wrong residential wealthed area and this problem were enough to make Mayor Jeronij demolish everything and start the area from the scratch. This will be seen in the next update And finally, another preview on the next city to come:This is an earlier development step ....I hope you like the pics !!! Next update in progress.....

Mmm, it seems that even with the new site update somethings never change.... Does someone knows why when I paste the pre-saved reply, it does not show right ?¿

I dont have the time to remake the post now. 27.gif

    Hello, Jeroni, my friend.

Again, I could not think of a better thread in which to post my 400th post other than your CJ, Simtropia.

My apologies for being absent from posting to this thread for such a long time.  I have been quite busy with the real world and other responsibilities within the community.  Nonetheless, I do continue to read through your CJ and enjoy and marvel over its beautiful development.

I would like to take a few moments and comment on your latest update.

    33.01 - .02

I see that you are still busy at creating ports and, you have retained your creativity in doing so. I've always admired how nice you get your port/dock area and how straight they turn out.

    33.03

The northern end of your dock/port area has developed quite nicely.  I like the industrial look and feel of this area.  Very nice use of Peg's BATs (I believe they are his) and your seawalls as well.

    33.04 - .06

My!  What a very nice park you've created.  It looks very good in the middle of your residentials.  Oh, what history could that "strange" stone circle tell us if it could talk...  2.gif  Nice use of the Stonehenge landmark.  Stephen´s residentials certainly do give this area a Euorpean "flaovor" -- that is, European look and feel.

    33.07 - .09

What a novel idea to show an area!  I really like the 360o trip around this area.  This was as wonderful way to see the same area from different vantage points.  By the way, nice use of the Canary Wharf subway station.

    33.10

I do like your overview pictures, Jeroni, and this one is particularly nice.  I really like the rocky outcropping in the middle of the port area.  The rock face especially appeals to me.  I can't quite make out what you've placed at the summit of the hill -- some type of radio or cell tower?  I certainly hope the harbor pilot pays close attention when bring ships in and taking ships out on the far side of the port area given that patch of rocks up close to the shore.

    33.11 - .12

Your medium density residentials have developed quite nicely, as well.  I wonder how long it will be before your single family homes are replaced with apartment blocks?  I don't recognize the tall brown building.  Would you mind posting information concerning it?  Thank you.

    33.Extra

Ah, Jeroni.  You continue to tease us with your future developments.  This is a beautiful farming area you've shown.  The little village looks just right nestled amongst the trees.  Your rolling farm fields are excellent!  I certainly look forward to this area when you start to post it.

Thank you, my friend Jeroni, for a most excellent update to your most excellent CJ.  It is always a pleasure to read through this jewel.

    Regards,

    Vandy

In the end you will see, You is you and me is me.

Vandy, it is always a pleasure to hear from you and read your wonderful posts !!! Congrats for your 400th. It is an honour for this CJ to host it 2.gif. I am sorry, but as mentioned somewhere in this thread, I can not open the city of Peraires actually. It seems to be corrupted 34.gif. I dont remember the name of the brown building, but as soon as it grows again in one of my cities, I´ll write down the name for you.

To all: Thanks for your nice comments and compliments. Your feedback is always greatly apreciated !!!. Also thanks for the compliments about the extra stuff I make, like the trees and the walls....I enjoy making them and I feel glad that other players find it useful !!!

Same thing happened to me, jeroni! When you zone an 18 x 6 plot for SG's shopping center, if you have his Sheraton buildings downloaded, those grow instead. You should change the shopping center tiles to 18 x 7! 44.gif Cool update!

I love last update! A sort of Just-A-Wow updates as I like to say 1.gif You've got an awesome hospital there, finally a realistic one. They were always too small. My another favourite area is the medium rise residential one. IMO those R$$$ condos fit very well there. And lastly... that's a shame about the shopping center. I know what it feels... so annoying! I'm looking forward to more 48.gif

Man, I have no words to describe this update, I've seen a lot of nice updates from you and others, but I don't know if is because I'm getting addicted to this game again, but I think this is one of your best updates if not the best one.

Beautiful, I could watch this images for hours.

Don't you ever stop doing this favour to the community, we all thank you for all these nice landscapes of yours.

Hi Jeronij, great update. Great to see this area developing some more. I was wondering where you downloaded that elevated rail station in the top left of picture 34.01? I used to have it but I somehow deleted it. Thanks for any help. Excellent work once again.

Hey amigo, great work as usual.

And I must say that your Citynut's Hospital setup is the best one I've seen so far.

The way it's secluded behind those trees it's nothing short of perfect!

Can't wait to see more of Teereno!

    Take care my friend! 44.gif
