3. The sidewalks are controlled by the EXE for the networks. However, we can hide them by extending the textures, as you suggested. For the curves/diagonals, some sort of grass texture should be used to cover the rest of the tile past the shoulder.quote>

Couldn't you have a mod that switches off the ANT base texture?

Not quite, the .EXE controls it. And the .EXE is a no-go zone.

The street intersection is the only one that currently works correctly. For other interections you must transition the RHW into one way roads outside of the intersection. You can upgrade your RHWs into highways for interchanges by first transitioning them into one way roads, than transition the one way roads to highways.

Hope that helps!

Hey guys the work here is looking good. However, i thought i might let you know, i was using the beta version of this in one of my cities, when my pc started slowing down greatly. I bulldozed it, then game returned to normal. tried a few more times and got the same results...just thought i would let you know.

Also, any "unofficial offical" list of what the final release will have in it? I'm looking forward to this project the most!

I have the BETA version also, and I think that it looks alot more realistic than the Maxis one, especially in smaller cities and, of course, rural areas. The only problem that I've noticed is that it doesn't show up on the regional transportation map (but neither does the NAM El-Ave Puzzel pieces, for that matter). Anyways, I'm sure that this has been brought up before but this a pretty long thread and I don't want to go through the whole thing. To close, I think that you guys are doing a great job on this project and I look forward to the final release. Thanks!
