I went for a one week vacation to Paris... Had a great time, people were so nice to me. I stayed at a classic french hotel, it was 3 blocks away from the Pantheon... Im dying to go again... such a beatiful city... and despite the economic problems around Europe, Paris still shined!

Well... I landed at Orly, at the South of the City... I stayed at Saint Jacques Hotel, 2 blocks away from the Pantheon, and like 5 blocks away from Notre Dame Cathedral. It was beautiful! I went out every day just to walk the city... such a wonderful place, and I dont want to sound pedant or rude, but it reminds me a little to Buenos Aires, I mean, I can see where the inspiration came from... I really love Paris, I would go there every year, specially in winter... I dont know, I find Paris to be a magical place. And of course, I tried to blend in as much as I could, I went and used the metro, train, bus.. everything!! I walked, I went to a carrefour near the hotel, watch the football match (France classification)... I had the best time ever!! You my friend, you have one of the most beautiful cities in the world! And not to forget, french people, they treated me sooooo good, I mean, again... dont wanna be rude, but I always thought french were really closed, you know... but it turns out they are great! I have no regrets, and Im really grateful... a city, and a country to admire!!

Thaks a lot CMDP, i would say where does you actually live? Me i lived at Paris 5 years (15eme arrondissement) but now i live in North of French, a former industrial region but this region had its charms.

Beautiful mosaic!! Im currently living in the Dominican Republic, which is a nice place, very hot, nice beaches, and of course.. Caribbean country (rum and bachata)... Im movin to Boston in september... so I guess Im very excited... you know, in a couple months Im gonna be in a cold place, no beaches... and definetly no rum and bachata LOL!
