Would it be possible if you were to finish, well start the CTA project; the Chicago subway project. After all it is on your list of things to do. I need it for my Chicago after it is almost complete I would like the screen shots to be all that more realistic. When you do make it can you make the train set work for all three types of rail. After getting the Japanese Rail-to-Subway and Rail-to-El-Train mods I wanted to make the city all that more believable. Many thanx and I'M going to be posting the Great City of Chicago(not finished) soon.

I know that the Pictures are not the best...

Any chance you could do these? The subway as an elevated rail , and the other one as a train?

here is another shot:

(i realize these are 2 different generations of trains, but something close to either one
would be nice - unless you feel ambitious and decide to do them all :-) )

Hey,

I would like to request the Canadian Train service Trains VIA Rail. If somebody could make these for all of the Canadians on this site it would be awsome.

-MTLT

-EDIT-

Ok all here is the biggest train tester ever. The Maglev! If the track of the monorail could be modded just a bit we could have high speed Maglevs running between our downtown and airport, or clear across the whol region! This would be awsome!

Folks, BigRedFish haven't been here since June 2004... I don't think there's any point in posting requests here anymore. 34.gif

OK...

To answer the myriad requests for the Chicago L Trains (as well as my own), I've made two sets.

Download it!

I request:

Pennsylvania Railroad F9 Locomotive
quote>

The Pennsylvania (1848-1968) never bought any F9's. Only F3's and F7's (both A and B units), as well as dual-service FP7's. When it merged with the New York Central (forming Penn Central) in 1968, it inherited no F9's from them either, but when the New Haven was forced onto their books in '69 they did inherit 60 FL9's (like F-units, but with a three-axle trailing truck, and capable of operating as disels or electics). Some of these remained in service with Amtrak and NJ Transit to almost 1990.

A request of my own: More flexible NAM elevated rail over road pieces, please! This would include switches over roads, curves allowing the rail to move away from road without ending the road and real, functional curbside stations. Some pre-done curves would also be nice.

Overlord - I can tell you know your railroads.

You're free to make your own station. I have learned that placing stations next to the puzzle pieces, like you do with ground rail, will work and be completely functional. Now, using a technique called offset rendering, you can create a station that will plop next to the road/rail, but appear over it.

Normally, you could just create a lot that would plop over the rail. However, you can't make lots that plop on top of puzzle pieces. So you'll have to do it the way I described above.

As for more flexible puzzle pieces, I can try doing some of that. It's frustrating when I can build the Loop, but I have no corners or switches to actually connect it to the rest of Chicago's transit network.

EDIT: Request changed; below.

Thankyou.

007: I do believe that there is an Amtrak set similar to those floating around on the STEX.

I posted this request in trolcas thread but I think it might get noticed more here. I was wondering if you could make a newer model melbourne connex train which uses ground rail and elevated rail? I would really appreciate it. Here are a few picture link that should help.

This is CityRail's new Hunter Railcar (to be introduced later this year). I was thinking of this kind of style. I wasn't aware that it was also going to be in pretty much the colours that I was after for my custom train.

As such I will settle for this design - in fact, I like this one far better.

You can find more information on the car here: http://www.cityrail.info/aboutus/trains/hunter_control.jsp

Or, alternatively, try the Outer Suburban Car (to be introduced early 2006)

More info on these trains, including RL specs and dimensions, the Millennium train requested above, if you're interested, can be found here: http://www.cityrail.info/aboutus/trains/index.jsp

Sorry about the double post, but for some odd reason, I can't edit my post directly above. Oh, and Dirk, if you see this, something's SERIOUSLY wrong with the edit post dialogue. Much of the HTML coding for the board showed up in the text-editing area.

Yeah, but I've kinda taken her place. ATM, I'm swamped with NDEX stuff, not to mention stuff IRL, but eventually I'll start accepting requests.
