  1. I've found a site awhile back that has a lot el-train skins if any1 wants to check it out here
  2. Would it be possible if you were to finish, well start the CTA project; the Chicago subway project. After all it is on your list of things to do. I need it for my Chicago after it is almost complete I would like the screen shots to be all that more realistic. When you do make it can you make the train set work for all three types of rail. After getting the Japanese Rail-to-Subway and Rail-to-El-Train mods I wanted to make the city all that more believable. Many thanx and I'M going to be posting the Great City of Chicago(not finished) soon.
  3. Underground Monorails?

Man check out the thread I forgot the name, but you'll have to use a translator to understand the site itself.
  4. Realism Project / Mod Development

Hey 7 I'm really looking foward to this project, and want to see what come out of it. I for one would really like to see the great city of chicago, but i know you'll be there forever building it, becuase i have. I haven't eeven finished all of the CTA subway lines and I've been working on the city for about 2-3 months now. I still need: Red Line south- Garfield to 95th Greeen Line- 51st to East 63rd & Cottage Grove(on the 63rd ST. Branch) and 51st to Ashland/63rd(On the ashland branch) Blue Line- Harlem to O'Hare Airport Purple Line- South Blvd to Linen From there out all the other lines are finished. Every line does make it to the famous LOOP which looks alright in my game. I'll try and post it up sometime soon.
  5. Underground Monorails?

Hey if you checked out the Japanese sites out there you might find it. I saw a couple of them, but I really don't like the idea of a monorail going into one side of the station and an El-Trains coming out of the other side like this. Monorail -->[====}----> El-Trail. LOL wish i had a pick ^ Station But check it out they have diff. types of mono-El-Rail stations.
  6. Realism Project / Mod Development

You say Chicago is a huge city and all, and it's true I've been working on my model for about a month and 1/2 and all i have so far in the region is 1.5 mill i have almost all of the subway down and the downtown section. All the cities are large so my game runs a little slow at times, but i still have comutters from 3 cities away that take the highway, lightrail, or subway downtown. My subway stations dowtown on the blue and red lines are way over capacity almost 50,000 each. Im not from the city, but i took on the project to test some transportation plans out. People said to build Boston and thats I live around there and i know it would be very difficult to do. The subway systems arent really conjested, but the highways are since people come from so far out. The Boston subway system( if you wanted it to look realistic would be very hard) A lot of the subway is level track, unlike the chicago subway which has about 45% or more in total that is elevated. I've made part of that system ground level but its hard to do. Well if you want a city that people travel to from suburbs and go to a center downtown area it will be really hard, but it all depends on how you set up u transportation system. I would choose Miami it has the monorail and also has highways to help out.
