I've always wondered why there were 202 more posts, lol :P

It's a glitch that occurred with the last forum upgrade. If you look through the thread you will find 202 posts which are there twice.

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

I also deleted 20 of my posts on my 20th birthday on August 20. I don't plan on repeating that but might edit 21 of my posts to say happy birthday to me.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

In some threads I've seen a conversation (i.e. someone asking help, and someone showing the solution) show up 3 times. Probably something to do with software switch, like the 10000 post thread (version 1.)

Edit: Like in the BTM Development Thread. Scroll down and you will see the conversation shows up 3 times.

I don't always ask for help, but when I do its because I desperately need it. This happened when I was first starting to use Milkshape 3D and I had no idea as to how to model something as simple as arocket.

Well, I'm back from New Zealand.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

The best thing about New Zealand: The Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed there. :P

I know - the tops of a lot of their mountains had these weird powdery white rocks on them.

That reminds me of the movie I watched last night, John Carter, who was mistakenly called Virginia. By the way, I am typing from a new app.

Indeed. Down south if some random person addresses you as "sir", it's perfectly normal. In New York, it either means that they are about to ask you for money, or that they take issue with something you're doing and are about to give you an earful.

Though, I was commenting more on the accent than the courtesy.

I know a man who lived in Mississippi and he once commented about courtesy out west is even worse than the south. He described it as "if a man people don't like is confronted in the south, they would be told about it upfront. In the west however, the people would talk behind his back and fake being friendly as to where the man would not know about it".

Every place is different because each region has a different history/background. And different traditions work the same way (Californians seeing Oregonians as 'hillbillies' and Oregonians seeing Californians as 'completely ignorant').

Oregonians are less refined than Bellevuans, San Franciscans, Los Angelans and Seattleites but there are hillbillies in rural CA and WA. I guess the West Coast is worse because we (most of us, not me) treat one anither nicely to their faces while we talk behind their backs and backstab them. I am on the spectrum so I always treat people overly formal and polite unless I really know them. Also, I just got back from my friend's 22nd birthday party.

I'd assume people from San Francisco are too tied up living in their trees to be rude anyway :P

Hollywood may have something to do with the west coast attitude described above.

I think it really depends on the person and which part of the west coast you live in. Where I live, most people are interested in sports and a lot f them are from the bay area (usually they will say they are from San Jose). But in surrounding towns however, I meet a lot of aged people who are in some way affiliated with the military; whether they were sent on a tour in one of the major theaters of war or stayed back at base.
