The "a historic/an historic" thing was covered in an issue of Spider-Man. Spider-Man schools the detective using "an historic," basically saying what Duke said up there about it sounding pretentious. So, you can probably guess my feelings on the subject as well. Don't worry, it's not an important enough issue to me to change how I think about the intelligence of whoever uses "an historic."

That's quite impressive that a weapons designer and prolific inventor can take time from his busy (if fictional) schedule of inventing stuff and shooting bad guys with lasers (okay, technically repulsor blasts) and doing dirty things with hot women to cut an album. I'll bet he has mad skills with that too, though.

We were in chat and Shadow Assassin, a chat mod, decided it was prime time for them to make a comeback, so asked who would join him. Most of us chat regulars responded enthusiastically.....and the rest is history.

I don't read comic books either, but I am nonetheless exposed to that culture through secondary means (video games, movies, internet, talking to people...).

I don't read many comics, except for a handful of Japanese ones (also known as manga). However, I know quite a bit about the major comics by watching TV and Movies.

I'm the jack of all trades, master of none type. If someone is passionate about some subject, no matter what it is, there is a good chance that I know something about it and I can talk with them about it, to a point (where that point is varies). But, odds are, they will know more about it and be more into it than I am.
