I know I don't have much authority to tell the team what's good or bad idea, since I just joined.

But should we create our own Stex Badge for NYBT members that upload to the stex.

I think it would kind of be a creative idea for someone to make a badge all NYBT members

could use when uploading. 

Someone already posted a comment in the main thread about a badge, but now when I think about it,

it was poorly made. Someone who could make/find a picture and edit in the words NYBT just to signify it's an NYBT certified BAT

Umm... you realize that they are talking about a 50x50 pixels STEX badge, right?

It's not a bad idea using the real Subway "bullets", just remember the letter is always white except on N, Q & R services, when it's black. Furthermore, you'll have to invent a design for the "Y" because it doesn't exist  as a subway service.

It should look more or less like:

It exists on the rollsigns of some of the older subway cars as a black letter on a white circle. I suppose you could use that...

TekindusT- I never knew about there never being a Y...hmmm. If there was one, I think it would be a dark blue Color for some reason... of course I don't have New York's Transportation lines familar in my mind, only the buildings.

I think the image size maximum is 80x80 pixels. I used the snipping tool to copy it and it's 80x79 without decreasing quality.

The space for a STEX badge is 50x50 pixels. I don't remember if bigger images are cut off or resized, but I would avoid both and make it 50x50 right from the start.

kelistmac, that badge is really great! I would suggest making the lettering solid white (or light grey), though - the contrast between blue and black is so low that the "NYBT" is hard to read. I'd try increasing the contrast between blue and light grey anyway, and in order to make sure that the contours remain crisp and clear, I'd stay away from lossy JPEG compression and save the image as GIF or PNG instead. You don't need a huge colour palette anyway, so the 255 colours a GIF or 8-bit PNG can carry should be more than sufficient.

Nice STEX Badges everyone. Really, I like how Xyloxadoria edited Kel's. I think maybe we should go with that one, and Parisians was good too!

Another idea I had about this... Should we also put the NYBT badge in our images of our uploads? I think I'll start doing that, not saying we all have to, but it seems like another better way to represent NYBT.

 well it's not MY badge, it's kelistmac's and partly Xyloxadoria's. i was refering to putting the badge they made to

represent NYBT in the signature instead of all the NYBT member's names
