Lucerne, Switzerland. Just the old town charm left you feel like you'd stepped back several hundred years. The mountains and tree lined lake certainly had an impression.

Ever been to the opposite hemisphere of your country?

No. I want to. At least I've crossed the continent border...

What would your ideal house contain and look like?

A bed, a bath and a kitchen. Don't care about how it looks as long as it has a roof, a wall and a door. Coming from a family where we didn't have any luxury, those are of upmost importance.

What was your favourite childhood moment?

Off the top of my head I can't think of one specific moment....although I loved going out and playing kickball every day at recess. Although, depending on your definition of "childhood", I might be at the upper crust of that.

I love rainy days, but I can stare into a mirror any day.

If you won the lottery and bought Maxis, and you could make the next SimCity whatever you wanted, what would it be like?

Practical car: Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Wagon.  Hey, I'm a family man, after all.  But yo, this car is fast.

Attainable dream car: (tie) Subaru Impreza WRX STi 22B and Ford Mustang GT 5.0 (current model) I love the Subie boxer burble, but then again, I cannot ignore my American roots.

Dream car: Aston Martin DB7: The most beautiful car ever built.  You could disagree, but you'd be wrong.

    It's seasonal with me:

    Spring: mountain-biking

    Summer: Swimming/sunbathing

    Winter: Skiing of course

    Autumn: reading books :)

What do you eat and drink for breakfast on a normal weekday?

Yes. In the USA they only get 2.13/hr, so it is sort of expected.

And when I am out of the country it feels kinda weird to not do so... like I'm being naughty and cheaping out.

So, any wish(es) that you would have (or not have) done something in your past that would change who you are today had you done (or not done) it/them?

I would have majored in education instead of the stupid liberal arts degree I got.  I'm making the most of it, though, and my decisions got me married to a great girl and we had two really cute babies, so I'm not sure I would change anything.  I'd hate to give up what I have.

Typhoon Xangsane (locally named as Milenyo), hit us in 2006. But technically, just today, Super Typhoon Haiyan, (locally Yolanda) made landfall at 315 km/h windspeeds. :O But technically, Typhoon Xangsane back in 2006 because that hit Manila, and Haiyan hit Visayas, which is far from Manila. :ooh:

    Have you experienced a Category 5 typhoon/hurricane?

Nope.  I've lived in the Midwest and various places across Honshu, Japan's main island.  Big storms like that don't go to either places.

What's the most exciting weather event you've ever experienced?

Scrapple. It's a Philadelphia thing. The parts of a pig that no one wants. Worst part is that there was a scrapple eating contest at Reading Terminal Market in Center City last week.

What foods are native to where you live?
