Can anyone point me towards some nice growable/ploppable CS$ skyscrapers? Thanks!

Well, I don't know of any Cs$ skyscrabers, but I do know two Cs$$. Here are the links LINK 1, LINK 2.

Please note, that they require CAM to grow. But if you know how to use PIM-X, you could easily make a ploppable version yourselves. (you could even make a Cs$ version!)

Hope it helped ya!

Yes I think your right, I have looked before and never have I been able to find these type of skyscrapers. It would be fantastic if someone would create at least one. It seems to be very strange that maxis did not do so.

Maxis didnt make CS$ skyscrapers because it would make absolutely no sense. CS stands for Commercial Service, while $ is low wealth. In other words you would be looking at a "poor" 30+ story barbershop or corner store.

Ryan 123220 is correct. It would make no sense to have a syscraper full of barber shops, cheap grocery stores, package storres, but it would be intresting for a walmart sky scraper

It would certainly be an interesting experiment though. Having a medium-rise building (10 floors or so) full of small businesses I can certainly see happening.

asteconn has a point, the question is: Are there any BATters, that would spend time on making such an experiment?

- Personally i don't think so.

There was a place in Liverpool, Quiggins, it was called. It was a collection of fashion and jewelry market stalls within an old five story building. Not really a shyscraper though...

I can't remember if simgoober made one once, but I know I do have one but I can't remember its name. Its not a huge skyscraper, but it's big enough

The concept is really silly even on the surface of it.. not an "experiment".. just a bad lot.. of course that doesn't mean someone will not/cannot do it..

A building full of the low end C$ Jobs would make more sense then having to use up half a map just to get enough C$ jobs created. It is perhaps one of the largest annoyances people experience while trying to play sim city 4.

It makes sense for the game mechanics, but for real life, it doesn't make sense and it never really happens.  Most retail sticks to the ground floor, and when conditions are right, an area can support multiple floors of retail.

So I wouldn't expect any 60 story beauty supply stores, or 60 story love motels.  3.gif

Before the end of the month I'll be uploading a new BAT which is CS$, and much denser than the CS$ provided in the game, but it's still not particularly tall.

Well, there's https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=18348 and a one called Rookery building which I think is form LEX.

I can definitiely see Low Wealth high rises, if not actual skyscrapers, being feasible. In denser parts of the world, like Asia of course, but also cheap hotels and youth hostels pretty much anywhere.

I think your really onto something there, It would make a lot of sense to have a skyscraper of low wealth motels.

I love the concept and think it would be really great to see someone realease one.
