Well, I looked at the Nominations and Winners and I wanted to thank those who nominated me. I thought the only thing I would be nominated for would be me and everyone on NYBT for Favorite BAT Team, but I was nominated for a few things I didn't expect!

Those nominations were unexpected to me, and I was glad to see that I was atleast the runner up for something, which was BAT New Commer of the Year. I didn't win anything, nor did NYBT, but I'm satisfied anyway, thank you all who nominated me and those who nominated NYBT! And once again congrats on the Winners, runner ups, and nominees!

...I'm just glad people appreciate my "off topic" contributions. Sometimes I worry about my posts being bothersome.

On the chess award:

Perhaps abcvs is the only one to beat him so far. Anyway, he's making all of us better chess players. quote>

And I'll confirm your "perhaps". I've played seven other games against six other opponents and won them all, making me 9-2... which actually doesn't give me the highest winning percentage here since there are a couple people who are 1-0.

Though, I'll be honest, a couple of those wins were against people who forefeited prematurely... and a couple more were too easy and I don't feel like I really earned them.

More importantly, though, if people are actually learning from me... I value that.

I would like to humbly thank those of you who nominated me for Map Guru of 2009 from the bottom of my heart.  It really means a lot to me that my dedication to providing maps for the community to build their cities on is recognized in this way.  Once again, thank you.

Wow.... I got... THREE?!

What can I say.... I couldn't have done it without all of you! 

I want to give out a special thanks to the admins.... without you guys.... I'd have nowhere worth posting my stuff... ummm all the people that proofread my stuff for me, without you guys, my story would stuck and make no sense... to all my readers, for voting, and proving that yes.... you really do like me.

Wow! 3? I was really only expecting the obvious "Best Grimy City" but you guys gave me "Best City Journal" too? Who would have thought my grim, gray, despotic little nation would receive such an honor? You are the best! Congrats to everyone else in that category, there were some really fantastic CJs this year!

Not only those, but one for my very first released BAT? I really wasn't expecting that, especially since I was going up against so many fantastic creators Congrats to Cockatoo, you really have stepped up your creations and deserve BOTH "Most Improved BATter" Trixies. Congrats to the HKABT, the BSP was gunning for a two-in-a-row for favorite team, but you guys really pulled out all the stops. Between HK pacific place, Cockatoo's wonderful work, the BAT machine himself, bixel, plus everyone else, there really is no competition

I am a little overwhelmed, but I accept these accolades along with many more deserving members who were recognized.

I have recovered from my recent fugue, and now find that I am unable to play the game (for now).  To see what happened, I recorded all this in my personal blog.  Sorry for the bad writing, but it is stream of consciousness stuff, and relatively unedited.
