Blueprints out! Who got lucky?

 Quite simply, today they've started the blue print distribution.  I got quite lucky and got 2 blueprints.

Saint Basil's Cathedral (+15% Landmark, +15% Leisure satisfaction, +1% Elites satisfaction)

Big Ben (+20% Landmark, +10% Educations satisfaction, +3% Elites satisfaction)

I think I'm going to build Saint Basil's, I always loved its architecture and it's one of my favourite buildings in the world.  Though Big Ben gives bigger bonuses, I own the limited edition so if/when I hit 1million I can build Big Ben anyway.  :3

I got St. Patrick's Cathedral (+ 15% Landmark, + 1% Executives satisfaction, + 1% Elites satisfaction) and the Statue of Liberty (+ 20% Landmark, + 10% Leisure satisfaction, + 3% Elites satisfaction). The requirements to build them, though, are WAY higher than what I can produce right now....

But actually, I think every active PO player got at least one blueprint.

If you pre ordered the game you get a certain blueprint depending on where you got it from (I think). I got notre dame de paris.

You can request a blueprint from a player on the main site.  You might try to find someone with a statue blueprint for which

the requirements to build them...are WAY higher than what [they] can produce right nowquote>

I got St. Patrick's Cathedral, but I tried to build it right now. Due to poor trading, I had to shut the project down. Trading should be better.

Quick question on the requirements... do those count up each turn, or do I have to have enough tokens in one turn?

For example, Notre Dame requires 50 office tokens.  Do I have to get 50, or I can I keep 1 surplus token for 50 turns?

but you dont just keep that 50 in your pile, you have to assign them to the blueprint building by clicking on the building

Don't forget you need tokens for phase 2 and phase 3 for building the blueprint.

So if I understand correctly, can the blueprint function as 'demand' for offices then? If it sucks up 50 office tokens then I can go on an office building bonanza

Okay.  It was confusing me since it showed the 50 as "maximum per turn"... I figured I could put any amount up to that towards it.  Thanks.

My free trial ran out but they're giving a free 2 days this weekend to try them out.  That's pretty cool.

I got the Statue of Liberty as well.  Too bad my city is in mothballs as I decided not to continue playing beyond the 7 day free trial.

I did just get a 3 day extension offer from MC, but what's the point in taking advantage of it?  At this time I don't have any intention of returning to the game anyway.

I want to get the Tokyo Tower in June. I hope it is not built by then (or that Monte Cristo allows multiple iterations, meaning different mayors can build the same blueprint even though they cannot build the same one twice).

I guess I'm lucky-got three of them. Doing the free weekend thing. After the 7 day free and now playing this-nope, can't see me continuing with the PO. This is what I got:

I didnt get lucky, but my friends where, and they shared the BP's with me since they dont play online. I got: Saint Basil's Cathedral, Rijksmuseum, and  Big Ben 

Building them all!

So, just finished Phase 1 of Rjikwhatever.... to help folks out with the questions I had on the blueprints...

-To start, you have to have at least one token of ALL the required token types in the current phase.

-You must assign your tokens to the blueprint by clicking on the building, then "manage blueprint," then move the tokens over onto the slots under the building and click "assign"

-The blueprint will ONLY progress at the end of the day- this was what was confusing me.. I had the max allocated and it was not building.  But Phase 1 finished overnight when I left with the max allocated.

-You do not have to assign the max.  You can assign as few as one token, but again they will only update over night, and obviously it will take much longer

Any more tips or FAQ answers?

At least with me, I noticed the time for switch over was sometime between 2:00am and 2:30am eastern time when I was just chatting in planet view on Pol.
