My cities XL crashed earlier today. Now when it loads, it does not seem to recognize any keyboard or mouse input. Goes through the load screen and then gets stuck on the menu. I need to start the task manager in order to close it.. Tried restarting my machine, and same thing happens. Any ideas?

I ended up reinstalling

Most annoying - even after this latest patch on my laptop it crashes when it gets to "loggin in".... Is there a way to do a file check? If I reinstall will it simply write over the old one?

I didn't change anything - crashes to desktop after the movie. I had hoped the recent patch would fix it but no luck. Is there a way to do a file check without losing saved games for the solo mode? I have solo games saved on the laptop - play it on the plane

I was running fine on my laptop until the latest patch. Now I crash after the intro movie. Working fine on my desktop. Any ideas?

I would love to see a way to turn the pause feature off. I realize it is probably there to prevent people going into deep debt when they walk away from their PC, but I would prefer if you could toggle it on and off. I often have cities running while I work, and sometimes I like to build up my cash reserves a bit before building up more portions of my cities. Would like to be able to monitor the game on one of my machines while I work on the other without having to jiggle the mouse so frequently. Is there a way to toggle it off, or adjust the timing?

Curious if there are any plans to make it easier for gaming guilds to coordinate? Such as chat channels, trade offers just for guild mates, etc,

sgcase many thanks - someone showed me that last night as well. One thing though - the trade will appear backwards in your active trades list - but it is still working right. Hopefully MC adds a handy button on the trade menu so that I don't have to annoy everyone by typing "..." into chat ;-) I have an agricultural city that I trade food and water from to my industrial city.

Did anyone figure out or explain how to trade between two of your own cities? I know it was asked here already but I did not see a response. I would like to know as I plan to set up a 2nd city now and trade food and water to my industrial/fuel city.

I don't think you can. I think there is a delay until your name will be available again as well. I deleted an earlier city and started a new one on a different plot with a different name because I was unable to get the same plot or same name. Not that big a deal for me since eventually I will have multiple cities anyway - but I do think that they should add an option to start over on the same plot with the same name.

During beta there was some discussion of an iPhone app associated with Cities XL. Is that still in the works? Would be fun to be able to check stats, work trades, etc in a form that is more iPhone friendly than the website.
