In the US-not sure about all the state, but as long as it based on 'some' facts it's pretty hard to win a libel suit. These suits are mostly filed to harass people. They are rarely won or any money change hands.

I haven't played the game in months now. Will wait for the buses and see what that's like. This game launch was a failure from the beginning. Alot of issues should have been taken care of in the beta period and weren't, which makes me believe MC was 1.running low on cash and had to get the game out no matter what or 2. simply was not willing to spend the needed capitol to make a great game. Either way I don't see them supporting this game in SP mode for to long. This is a game like SC4 was in that it will need time to get a followling. It's not like the shotem up games that come out with a bang. Have fun all.

I guess I'm lucky-got three of them. Doing the free weekend thing. After the 7 day free and now playing this-nope, can't see me continuing with the PO. This is what I got: Saint Basil's Cathedral + 15% Landmark. + 15% Leisure satisfaction. + 1% Elites satisfaction. Upkeep cost: 50 000 Rijksmuseum + 10% Landmark. + 15% Education satisfaction. Upkeep cost: 20 000 Eiffel Tower + 20% Landmark. + 10% Leisure satisfaction. + 2% Elites satisfaction. Upkeep cost: 100 000 If anybody wants them I'm AceBluffOne on the PO.

5/10 It's only half a game. They have a long way to go. I do not care to play this or any MMO game, so why didn't they tell us from the beginning that this is a MMO and not a solo game. I bought this for the solo only and it's a joke. Yeh, great graphics but after that-nothing. Like I posted elsewhere, can't wait for the ski gem. Yep, buy the ski gem then they will tell me to pay $10 a month if I want snow with it, and you're just renting the snow on top of it. No mass transit in a city building game-what a great idea!!! Nice demo-can't wait for the real game to come out.

Not really a bug but it would be nice to be able to shut off auto save,and have a "save as" feature so I can experiment with the same board. (this is in solo mode). Plus shut off the auto pause. I leave it for like 5 sec amd the game pauses it self. I have had touble with the clock-it will get stuck on one number and not change though the game does.

Here's my simple suggestion to EA. Simply update simcity4 to a more modern graphics engine. EA has alot of experience with modern graphic engines so I can't see it being dufficult to just update it.

I just got done playing off-line. If your not connected to the internet on the splash screen where you put you password in, there is at the bottom where it says you can play offline. Hit it and it will let you play offline.

No where on the box does it say you have to be connect to play the game. I didn't buy this game to be connect to the internet all the time.

I placed my order on sept 4 and my number is #1193-go figure. ( this was from the cites XL site)
