Advent Offensive

BuggUla has decided to have a special holiday lights display in Schulmania. No, this one will not compete with the Griswolds…

Or even the Simpsons…

This holiday display will be all about fire power, not candlepower. Witness the monstrous exercise known as The Advent Offensive, brought to you by the Grinch. I mean, BuggUla.

So, what does BuggUla have in mind to do? Replace “Ho Ho Ho” with “Hee Hee Hee”. The spirit of the season will be one of despair as a massive new offensive gets underway.

Massings of armor and troops along several spots on the eastern front have been detected by Schulminion forces, but not in time to stop the assault.

It’s go time!

Massive simultaneous assaults push back the beleaguered Schulmania IV Corps

SNA IV Corps fell back while awaiting reinforcements from Wirdleonia and East Atkinos. The 7th Division was outflanked and decimated; the 56th Division narrowly averted the same fate.

Queensferry forces bombarded the retreating Schulminion forces and rapidly advanced on several central Devonshire towns.

The small towns quickly fell and the path to the agricultural interior was opened to the enemy forces. The piedmont in central Devonshire is largely given to agriculture, providing a goodly amount of the nation’s catnip supply. As defensive trenches were breached, these farms became the primary target for the assaults.

By the time reinforcements arrived and the situation stabilized, the bold attack had resulted in a stunning victory for the enemy. A defensive line was established along the Devonian ridgeline and the front was significantly lengthened by inroads into East Atkinos.

As the towns burned, the last vestige of feline control over East Devonshire disappeared. And, with a significant thrust to the southwest, the enemy could split Schulmania’s eastern forces.

Surveying the map and the significant losses, General Neyland slammed his paw on the desk in anger. The losses have to stop. 2011 might end in ignominy, but 2012 will be the year to end the war with victory. With steely resolve, he strapped on his helmet and headed back onto the field, ready for battle.
