Simcity4fan12 , as someone who has worked with you (perhaps not as closely as you may have with others, but definitely directly), I still see you as a valuable asset to the community no matter who you are friends with or what site you belong to. I don't think anyone here holds anything against you, at lest I don't. I won't ask you to "come back" (so to speak), because I can't pretend to have that much power over how you feel about this place. However, I will make perfectly clear that, so long as you are still out there, you will have a warm and welcome place here at ST.

I only posted here again to answer a question and mainly be sure if Gwail had done the modding which doesn't really matter for me now. I made a post rather than a few Pms to let most of ya'll know I was still BATing I was just at another site. But, I am quiting now. I don't think it's really funny that I have came back a few times, but every time that I did, I just got even less interested here. Besides, I'm mainly tired of the old ST and TG Bullsh*t and now feel like I shouldn't have gotten involved with anything. I think I should really quit ST, but maybe not NYBT. I don't know for sure, but I want to kinda avoid this place. It's to distracting...

Who knows what I'll end up doing. Right now, I'm going over to Devotion. I won't quit BATing, but ST has annoyed me too much. I don't really feel appreciated here anyway.

@Cockatoo-210893- .......well I don't see my potential here. This place is distracting, but with my quick thinking, I don't think I'll quit BATing. And yes, I have been making it damn clear, but I just posted here again to answer a quick question that I didn't really answer for a week or two(or longer?). The LOL was a little unnessecary, but that's not what made me decide to suddenly quit. I didn't want to keep making a big deal about it, so I just made a quick post announcing I quit  again....but here I am, explaining everything.

@SimHoTToDDy- You've worked with me better than most people concerning the quality of most of my non NY BATs. Mainly the Guaranty Building I did from Alexandria. Thanks for helpming me with Texturing many of times on alot of BATs(even though I never got it completely right....).

I don't think that leaving ST is a good move: stop posting here won't solve anything.

You aren't really leaving it since you still want to download things, read CJs and PMs.... and I can't understand it; if you want to really abandon ST, then forget it. Same people here probably are also on other sites, it's pointless "stop posting".

You should say a big "thank you" to this community, everyone here did a lot of work for SC4 and so for you.

We helped you, we offered you a place to post your work, a space on a server to put your works,... and now?

EDIT: I saw you opened a BAT thread at SC4D. Remember that quite everyone here have an account on both sites, so you want to leave only something called "www.simtropolis.com", but you aren't leaving a community

Would ya'll quit getting mad at me? So what if I'm not posting at ST only anymore. I don't even want to just download and look at CJs anymore here. It's not like I don't appreciate this place. Few people helped me here. Only a few. Then I get invited to this other place, then a whole overdramatic crap about banning people for it happened and how some people acted towards me when I got really annoyed with the banning thing, and it just bothered me. I thank those who helped me out with BATing and stuff but it's just...I can't really explain. I just want to avoid here, not because I want to leave everyone here. I KNOW most people here have acounts at Devotion too. You think I'm stupid or something? This is really annoying me to the point to just not even bother to go to any SC4 Fansite.

Just leave me alone about it. And drop the subject. Just drop it. I'm not posting here. Please don't post anything about this below my post. Anyone who posts below should be NYBT members showing there work or people commenting the work being shown.

No, there is still an NYBT team. It's just that SimCity4Fan12 (the founder) is going through some rough times. But, NYBT will keep producing content.

Just keep trying and look at the all the tutorials. It took me a year to figure out how to BAT.

I love the building, you have the buses on the lot,  this is somthing I got to see when its finish. O yeah, have you thought of making some NYC traffic lights, I have made some before I was on the team some parts come from Hanson784 model that I have downloaded from the ST.

Great work on the bus depot so far Gwail! I was actually thinking of doing a similar project once I got my BATing skills up to par. I actually created an NYCTA Substation the other day after getting frustrated with the r142...it needs a few minor details and adjustments and I think it would be ready to release soon maybe.

Here's a good trivia question: What program do I use to make my roof textures; it's not even an image editing program?

Well, the answer is Microsoft Word. I'm poor. At least the method works. Or, at the very least, I made it work. I wonder if I could write a tutorial about that.

As you can see, I now have three buildings "done". If you have any suggestions, I'll give you a few days to voice them before I render. So speak now or forever hold your peace. I don't want complaints after I upload these. I hope to upload these before my school vacation ends on the 22nd. I don't know how likely that is, but whatever floats NYBT's boat.

On a side note, I placed third in a math competition. Yeah, I'm lame. That means I'll be going to Boston for the state finals. I fear people from Eastern Massachusetts. Like Kryptowhite. I also fear Deval Patrick very much. And the Big Dig. How can I summarize it in an extreme manner? Help me out, Scott Adams.

Except replace "the new guy" with "Krypto" and "New York" with "Boston".

Nice work, Jumpthefence, I like these, however the roof of the last building is way too bright.

112 Mott Street looks fantastic, good details, good saturation, good roof texture. You might want to add some flashing to the red brick building, but otherwise I think that one looks great.

The other two, however, do not have the same visual quality. For 109, try making the tops of the walls (flashing) a dark gray like in 112, and try making the walls thinner (.3m is usually good). Also try adding more detail to the roof, the stair "towers" look really boring, like a black box.

129 is even worse by comparison. You need to spend more time on the textures, making them less bright and more interesting. Quite frankly I don't think the bright white mortar on the red building is convincing. Roof needs just as much work as 109, plus additional work on the roof texture.

All in all, the only one I would call "done" is 112. Try matching the quality of the other two with that one, and you will be in good shape.

I agree with my two fellows above.112 mott street does look gorgeous though, and i can't wait to use it. Now, you should just bring the latter two at the quality of the first one, and i will have a nice row of cute buildings to use in my city !
